“The ambiance of the space was delightful, characterized by high ceilings and generously sized tables that provided ample comfort and space to savor our meal. Offering both indoor and outdoor dining options, the outdoor area featured a portion shielded by plastic, ensuring protection from the elements. Additionally, a second-floor dining room overlooking the main indoor area seemed reserved for private functions. The cuisine impressed with its excellence and visually appealing presentation. Service was both friendly and attentive, and portion sizes were fitting for a fine dining experience. An added charm was the outdoor movie screenings against the establishment's wall, which lent its name. Highly recommended.“

“"Breaking bread" and the octopus were the only two good dishes we had. The salads, baklava, and grilled oysters were just okay while the lamb and stuffed squid entrees were incredibly bland. I'd say this is your classic trendy "small plates meant for sharing" restaurant that has all the hype and none of the actual delivery. Prices are ridiculous for the portion sizes. Service was attentive but cold. Their menu seemed super interesting, so I'd go back one more time to give them another shot. But overall, I wasn't terribly impressed by my first visit.“

Ordered a few beers (great beer selection) and were sipping on drinks within 10 minutes of waking in the door. People sitting next us at bar were friendly and bartender (also part owner) was extremely helpful and attentive while we're there. We had already eaten but food on menu and at people tables looked very good. Will definitely make sure to stop by here next time I'm in the area with a little more time to dive into food and wine/beer menu.“

The staff tend to stay and remember returning guests. You can eat at the bar as an option, where you may meet both locals and travelers. The food is always delicious and reasonably priced, especially considering it's within a hotel, which often means overpriced meals. Our burger was a 10 of 10! Everything was great! We'll be back!!!“

“I could'nt've (<- check out my contraction) been more happy at dinner. The food was great, the owners and employees were kind, and it wasn't too loud.We ate around the menu that day, it's not a massive menu, but everything on the list can fend for itself. For starters we tried their crazy-crazy eggs with shrimp and some special sauce. I wasn't familiar with it but it was good. We also got this big folded over thing called Brik. It reminded me of some Moroccan treats that are a lot smaller, but this was more of an appetizer with potatoes and capers. It was really good!We ended up getting Lamb Tajine and Branzino for our main courses. I have to say, the Branzino was probably a little over-salted for most people, but it was right down my alley. I've never enjoyed a fish more. The Lamb was equally delicious, with the dark color and perfect seasoning.Dessert..... Let me tell you about dessert. First, the cream looked delicious, then we knocked it over by accident onto my Baklava, then we ate both and smiled like the Grinch did (ear to ear). What an amazing place. The place is a little cramped, but it wasn't something that we were bothered by, it's the city. Even when the waiter shuffled in between the tables it wasn't like his butt cheeks were relaxing in your soup. It was just enough space. The place had light music in the background and a nice bar, it was a really nice place.“

“What a lovely place! From the beautiful space with high ceilings and natural light to the delicious food, we had such a wonderful experience dining here. We had a Wednesday night reservation at 6:30pm and upon arrive the main dining room was fairly empty. With that being said, it gave us time to appreciate the space and all of the beautiful details. While I was wrapped up mostly in great conversations throughout out meal, everything we ate was so tasty! From our beautiful and vibrant amuse bouche to our final bites of dessert, not only did we leave full but also satisfied. Among my favorite bites ordered: Wood Fired Flower Bread, Crunchy Shrimps and the Manti dumplngs were among my favorite starters. As for the entrees, I could have done without the Wheatberry Risotto, but the Branzino and Lamb Chops are standout dishes I would definitely order again without hesitation! I don't have a huge sweet tooth, but as a group we ordered the Turkish Donuts which I had a taste of. The dessert was rich and decadent (and not overly sweet!) I'd recommend Taksim to just about anyone for a range of occasions and dietary accommodations. They have a little bit for everyone and with their excellent service and high quality of food, it's hard to go wrong!“

“In the heart of San Francisco lies a culinary gem, a sanctuary where flavors mingle with defiance, and every bite is a declaration of resistance. This is not just a restaurant; it's a culinary outpost of the Palestinian struggle, a place where food transcends mere sustenance and becomes a weapon of solidarity. At Beit Rima, diners embark on a culinary adventure that eloquently communicates themes of culture, resilience, and the enduring quest for justice. From the moment you enter, you're welcomed into a warm embrace of tradition and heritage. My recent visit was nothing short of revelatory. Guided by the gracious owner, Samir, I embarked on a culinary expedition that left me nourished both in body and spirit. Embarking on a culinary journey rooted in tradition, I savored the classic flavors of lebna and ful beans, emblematic of traditional Arabic breakfast cuisine. The essence of culture and heritage permeated every bite. This experience served as a poignant reminder of the intrinsic link between food and memory, illustrating how nourishment extends beyond mere sustenance. But it was the Chicken Shish Tawook Plate that truly stole the show. Tender, succulent chicken marinated to perfection, served alongside Samir's hand-kneaded bread that was a revelation in itself. And let's not forget "mom's rice," a humble yet deeply flavorful accompaniment that elevated the dish to sublime heights. The garlic sauce was delicious. As I sat, sated and content, I couldn't resist the allure of dessert. The Muhallabia, with its delicate balance of sweetness and freshness, was the perfect finale to an unforgettable meal. The significance of this meal was intensified by the poignant reality of thousands of Palestinians enduring forced starvation due to war on their homeland. Beyond the exquisite flavors and meticulous preparation lies a deeper truth: food is a potent tool of resistance. In a world where injustice runs rampant and oppression knows no bounds, supporting Palestinian businesses like Beit Rima is a tangible act of solidarity. It's a way to denounce America's complicity in the ongoing genocide and stand in solidarity with a people who refuse to be silenced. In every dish, every morsel, I tasted the spirit of resilience, the defiance of a people who refuse to be erased. Free Palestine forever.“
