“This is a fabulous restaurant within The Intercontinental on Howard. Bistro 888 is staffed by wonderful staff of The Intercontinental. The food shares a kitchen with the Michelin starred Luce. The staff tend to stay and remember returning guests. You can eat at the bar as an option, where you may meet both locals and travelers. The food is always delicious and reasonably priced, especially considering it's within a hotel, which often means overpriced meals. Our burger was a 10 of 10! Everything was great! We'll be back!!!“

Our server was rushed and a little brusque, but that was the only part of our experience that could have been improved. Faves were the hot stuff fondue, the spicy sausage, and the berner rösti!“

Their fried chicken was excellent, as good as the Barefoot Contessa, Ina Garten ( and that it saying alot). As Arnie says, We will be back!“

“Dacha is an absolute gem, a cozy, relaxing, and unique dining experience. From the moment you step inside, you’ll be greeted by the super friendly and welcoming staff who will make you feel right at home. The décor of vibrant yet intimate ambience conveys the feeling of Dacha, a traditional country cottage by a lake or river, surrounded by vegetable patches and berry bushes, where many Eastern European families spend their summers. But the real heart of Dacha is the exquisite taste, aroma, and appearance of its creative European-Eastern European fusion cuisine. Every bite was delicious in an evening meal with Piroshki appetizers, Dacha Beef Goulash, and Winter Salmon and in a delightful brunch of Syrniki Brulee. On an equally-elevated sensory level are the cocktails and spirit-free drink options developed from the experience of mixologist Katya who, with co-owner Suki, started Manhattan Zodiac cocktail catering company as prelude to the conception and opening of Dacha Kitchen and Bar.I can’t wait to return to sample Dacha’s Spring menu refresh that includes new entrees such as Pojarskaya Chicken Cutlet (stuffed with butter and dill), Mimosa Salad, and novel soups and desserts (black currant tart and honey cake). Dacha’s menu fully covers vegan and gluten-free diners.“
