Made a reservation here for a birthday dinner and had a good experience. Almost walked past the restaurant because there isn't visible signage outside - a little bit of a hidden spot. They open right at 5pm and no one is let into the restaurant prior to that. The food is where Robin shines. Fantastic date night experience. Definitely sit at the sushi bar, very fun to watch the chefs prep each piece. Every dish was beautifully plated. Fresh and balanced flavors. Nice modern twist to omakase. Appreciated the modern Japanese art, chic and intimate atmosphere.Robin was recommended by a good foodie friend from the Bay. I understand why she and all the foodie lists reference Robin. It’s a great place to eat and savor modern sushi when visiting the Bay.
