“Bund is, hands down, my favorite restaurant in SF. The food is fantastic, and the women working there are lovely--friendly, funny, and accommodating. I've always found the food here to be super flavorful, balanced, fresh, and not greasy. Whoever is at the wok in the back gets all my respect. I ended up coming here out of sheer luck. Another bustling, well-known restaurant establishment across the street was my original destination. When I saw how long the line was, I decided to leave. Trying to figure out where to go next, a man passes by me. He turned to me and said, "You gotta go here. It's SOOO good." The rest is history. My only regret is not discovering this culinary treasure sooner, lol. Now, I'm spreading the word about Bund, the great restaurant.“

“Best SHENJIAN Bao in SF! Any dish that is traditionally Shanghai is the same as what I got in Shanghai. Yes the Xiaolong Bao is not that beautiful, but the ones I eat day-to-day in Shanghai were just like that! Yes SHENJIAN Bao should have thick skin. The melon clay pot and rice cake brings back memory instantly! I'd say reduce your expectations on service, as it's just a mom and pop shop. It is authentic food. A gem in SF when most Chinese restaurants are Cantonese.“

“Excellent food at a quiet neighborhood restaurant! Staff are helpful and there's a good selection of dumplings and other Chinese food.Parking: Parking was worse than I expected for the area, even on a weekday night. Any car larger than a Prius will struggle.Wheelchair accessibility: I don't recall there being any steps or ramps. The front doors are not powered and only one opens.“

“This place offers a wide variety of dumplings, including rarer finds like fantuan, and other hot dishes at affordable prices in a conveniently located area of Sunset. The interior is small with only a few tables, but it's a cozy spot to enjoy a meal or pop in for takeout. They accept credit card but charge a 4% fee for dine-in, which is understandable. I'm really happy I found this spot and will probably return often.“
