Cool little bar next to the Penny Roma. Tasty tropical drinks. I tried the Rising Sun and thought the strawberry taste was unique. My friend ordered the POG drink but that really didn’t have much taste at all in my opinion, but it was very pretty with the flower.
I came recently and loved the Salty Dog tiki concept and tropical cocktails! To be honest I only tried one cocktail- the Rising Sun with gin, strawberry amaro, strawberry-ponzu cordial, ginger beer, and lime- which was light and refreshing. It didn't taste too spirit forward but was surprisingly strong. One of the best bars for cocktails in SF. The menu is extensive and they change it up regularly so you always get something new. There is always a creative new theme and the drinks showcase their excellent mixology. They also always have several non-alcoholic mixed drinks using quality alcohol alternatives! My only complaint is that I would love more (and more elevated) options for food, but it's good quality. Even the salad is quite good.
