“Happy hour 5-7 mon-thu, 4-7 fri-sun. Delicious food, super easy to over order here, but really good value for money. A few favorites, chef bento, raiders roll, Japanese tacos, Hamachi kama, otoro. The staff are all super friendly and really helpful in suggesting options. No bad selections so far. “This is one of those whole in the wall. The food is good! Ingredients are fresh. It’s the fresh ginger that did it for me. I’ve ordered take out, dine in multiple times. Just know that if you dine in, they’ll serve the food in paper plates. Which is fine, I guess. So don’t expect an aesthetic look. Not this place. It’s simply a good place to eat. Period.I like that they have Poke and a good selection of sushi.The spicy edamame isn’t very spicy, but it’s yummy! ?We ordered the dragon roll, the Lion king roll, and fried California roll.“

“This place was great and had good food but not enough for five stars tbh. Some of the food items are great and some are okay and need a bit more seasoning. Sometimes it's hard to get the attention of the staff. Some of the items are a bit pricy.“

“I just had a wonderful experience at Kaisen Don. The service was amazing, and they were so quick with bringing out our food. The staff made us feel right at home from the moment we stepped in. Even though it was bustling, our dishes arrived in a flash, which was awesome. And let me tell you, the sushi was absolutely delicious! So fresh and full of flavor. “I tried the spicy chicken donburi. It was exceptional. I really liked the taste and the spice was perfect, anything less or more would have ruined it, they nailed it. Comes with miso soup which is good as well. Chicken was fresh and juicy. They did not include the soy sauce in my takeout, which was a disappointment, but don't forget to grab some on your way out.“

“Well balance diet. Lots of vegetables. 1scope of rice and No MSG in the food & soup. Meat is plenty. What else can you expect from a takeout. NO MSG is the BEST you can get these years. Lots of Asian run restaurants are using MSG, intensively.Way to go !!!!!!!!“

We were going to each have a dragon roll but John said to do a Badass roll instead and I'm sooo glad we did. “This place seems more of a take out place, than a dine in place to eat and lounge. Inside is small, and not large but there is still seating. The prices here for sushi are fairly inexpensive compared to other sushi restaurants in the bay area. Service is quick, ambience isn't quite there but that's okay. The sushi tasted delicious and I was happy with the prices!“

“My friend and I went for a lite dinner on Sunday, Mothers Day. Had the best experience. The Sexy roll was absolutely delicious. Something I had not seen on the menu before was appetizer called Bomb. And it was THE BOMB!!! It's Tuesday and I'm craving that meal all over again. Next time you go please give that a try it was really really delicious. Dang wish I would have taken a picture.“
