“What a lovely chef, and an unbelievable meal. This was one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in my entire life. The service was attentive, the food thoughtful and inspired, the atmosphere comfortable and clean. On its own, the menu was incredible. Every single plate was well-described and beautifully prepared. I may never recover.And Gino… was LOVELY. I have met many chefs, and dined in fine-dining/Michelin-quality restaurants around the world. This was a superior experience. Gino was knowledgeable, kind, and friendly in a way that is truly rare. We would have come back for the food alone, but Gino made it a memory and an experience. He also personally (and kindly) chased us down to return my purse — the food was so good that I completely forgot it.Thank you — from a couple of new Canadian transplants who felt infinitely welcomed and well-fed.“

“A few days ago we got a sushi platter mixed with different rolls and sushi. It was honestly some of the best rolls and sushi I had in a while! It was fresh & delicious. Highly recommend the jun roll, baked salmon roll, and seared salmon roll! If you're in the area, definitely check out koco sushi!!!“

“I love to try new places. I will say the shopping area looks sketchy but the food here is amazing!!! I don't judge a place by where they are located and such!! But I decided to give it a try and man I don't have any complains. The girl who was on the register was sooo nice!! I feel like this place is such an underrated place and a hidden gem. Order 8 pc wings (Korean hot) 9/10 the sauce was on the side and would've like if it was on the wings but the sauce was not as spicy as I wish it was but it has a good sweet taste to it :))) Spicy pork 1000/10 it was soooooo good. I didn't even need teriyaki sauce. I ate it without and it was bomb Service 5/5 no complaints Overall a pretty good price for your buck!! Definitely would recommend“

The sushi and eel rice I tried today blew my mind as the best Japanese cuisine I've ever encountered in Orange County. And the kicker? “I thought I've had the best sushi until I tried Ponzu!!! Every dish I had was exceptional!!! Super fresh, creative, and beautifully plated! -SPICY GARLIC EDEMAME - Super garlicky and addicting! Served warm. Yum! -WAKE ME UP - Who would've thought fried Brussels Sprouts would go well with Seabass?! The spicy lime sauce is addicting! -SALMON CARPACCIO - It had real truffles!!! -YELLOW TAIL CEVICHE- Thick cut yellowtail slices with a citrus sauce. Yum! -SNOWFLAKES ROLL - I can't stop thinking about it. Never had anything like it. Salmon, tuna, and yellowtail on the inside and Halibut on top. The touch of sweet yuzu and sea salt made perfect! The service was great! Staff were friendly, and food came in a timely manner even though the place was a bit busy. Maybe the only one negative for me was that the music was a little too loud for my liking. I guess I'm getting old but other than that, I'd eat here again in a heartbeat!“

“I absolutely love Sushi and this is one of the best tasting sushi places I have been to in a long time. Maybe I was hungry. I had Tonkatsu Raman and the Raku Roll. The raman was very good and the Raku Roll was OUTSTANDING!! The roll was very large including ample fish and non-rice fillings. Price was also reasonable. I will be back next time I fly to SNA.“

“Came after recommended by a co-worker. Was looking to a legit Korean food place near my new office in Santa Ana. This is the spot! Got their Bibimbap and it was literally the best I have tasted. My wife who is Korean gets them all the time and I can tell you this place makes the best. I really love how it is family ran and the sweet Korean lady and Korean man work here. I feel like I am in a Korean home. The best part is I got to practice my Korea language with the Korean lady and she chuckled. I hope that was a good sign that I'm learning! Anyway if your in the area please come support this place it will truly be worth it!“

“The sushi here was really high quality for a decent price. I went with the 10 sushi omakase and definitely wasn't disappointed. I'd recommend getting an appetizer or two to go along with this to really be full. I also got a sparkling sake that paired really well with the sushi. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The sushi bar gave a very private feel. I'd definitely recommend coming to check this place out.“

“First time ordering here with my family. Staff gave us Salmon Tempura on the house thats not in the menu. We got here at 6 and it was empty when we first arrived. Closer to 7pm a few tables came in and a couple to-go orders too! Overall pretty quiet and calm. We enjoyed the rolls and nothing particularly stood out as a fantastic over the top roll, but all pretty good! We're for sure gonna come back. While I don't drink, my family ordered the BOGO Sake since it was happy hour too.“
