I ordered a traditional breakfast and it was tasty. I loved the wheat toast - probably my favorite thing on my plate. With the high reviews I was expecting more of a wow experience but that didn’t happen. I would go back if I am in the area again.

Literally the best food I’ve ever had in my entire life. Specifically the ranchero burrito. We also had the biscuits and gravy which was also absolutely amazing. I will dream of this food. Also, every person working there was incredibly nice and attentive to all of our needs.
Cute little diner. Get here early, It gets packed fast. We got there at 8ish. I got the corned beef hash eggs benedicts, that was amazing. The chicken friend steak was ok. Nothing special about it. The home fries were better than the hash browns. The fruit wasn't as fresh as I thought it would be, I got a bad grape.

If you want food like grandma use to make come there. Come hungry cause portions are good. Home made heavy and sausage are the bomb!!!! Staff is awesome. Not much seating but worth the wait.

A South Lake Tahoe tradition of sorts. There is usually a wait for a table ,especially on a weekend.But the food is good and the atmosphere isn't unpleasant.
Haven't been to Bert's in many years. Lunch was great. Killer burger and their cabbage salad is something to try. Friendly service, loved it all. Thank you!

I probably wouldn't go back. It wasn't very good and the service wasn't good either. Felt rushed and made mistakes on the bill and then didn't explain it and felt rushed.The sandwich ? for the tuna wasn't toasted either.

Biscuits and gravy is INSANE. I scraped the plate. Combination breakfast is a great call. I'd eat there once a week if I lived close by.We were a party of 13 and the place handled us super well. Very friendly staff, attentive communicators.If you're in a large group keep in mind they'll only split checks in 1/2, no more than 2 payment methods.Parking: The place is just popular so parking is dense. But we found a spot outside the restaurant right away, it's not a problem.
