Not the biggest fan of sausage but I find myself wishing that I can come here more often. It is lovely no matter what time or day you come, and is a great place to dine after a long snow day. Service can be a bit on the slower side but I've liked everything I've eaten here, especially the pot roast. The portions are pretty large and my group usually shares family style
Out first visit to the Himmel Haus. My husband & I shared The sausage platter with a variety of sausages including the game duck sausage. Delicious! Plus the homemade apple streusel was perfect. Plus many choices of German Beer & German wines Our server Laura provided excellent service as well as conversation. If you enjoy German Food you will not be disappointed. Delicious place to stop for après ski. We had the mini pretzel, the sausage plate and a peaches and cream strudel for dessert. All were tasty choices and we were glad to enjoy them after a day on the slopes. The servers were friendly and the decor was as if you were in the mountains of Germany.
