“Family style bar and restaurant. I've had a thick juicy cheeseburger and the fish and chips. Both dishes were nice large portions of flavorful and fresh tasting and well seasoned food. The place is friendly and well appointed. Prices are reasonable and service is great. The patrons are having fun socializing with each other. There are even families, but no young children. They are a mix of young and old. People are dressed in casual work clothes.“

“My friend loved the mini-burgers and lasagna soup, and I really enjoyed the eggplant lasagna. Great food for a cold winter day!“

“Great hidden gem right on the chamberlain highway! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve driven right by but didn’t know it was there.We got the Zack Burger, the good morning sunshine, a large fry, and the Reece’s peanut butter shake, everything was delicious!“

“Picked up some wings to go for my friends and I. I got the honey chipotle wings which did not disappoint, exactly what I was craving. My friends got boneless buffalo wings which they seemed to enjoy. We shared the tater tots with queso which was so good! Unfortunately , I didn't really look inside to get the vibe. I'll definitely be back though!“

“Greeted right away. We sat in seconds and our very friendly waitress took our drink and app order in a minute. Our drinks and food came out right away with a team of kitchen staff. Restaurant manager was circling the dining area, checking on everything. We loved our food and it was prepared to order. We were a party of 7 and we were never rushed. A group of 4 of us were traveling through the area and needed a good place for Dinner …We called and made a reservation , the owner Al was very personable on the phone .We arrived for dinner and he had our name on table , and he introduced himself …We had a couple of beers while he explained the menu to us ….we Decided on a couple of appetizers and also a small pizza to sample before ordering our dinner . The appetizers arrived and were very good, but the star of the show was definitely the pizza , so much flavor … the crust was to die for light and airy and so much crunch in the crust !!!! Next was the Dinner - Chicken Francaise , Chicken Parm , Chicken Marsala , Fettuccini Carbonaro .All meals arrived hot and were Delicious …We also got to meets Al’s Daughter who was very personable just like her Father ….We wished we had this Restaurant in our community . “I've had many different plates at this spot but tonight.. OMG. I got the Mediterranean Salad with crispy chicken & it was sooo good. The dressing was delicious and although it was creamy, it was a light dressing. The fried chickpeas and feta made it!! My daughter had the kids chicken quesadilla w/ I'm assuming house made chips?! But our dishes looked EXACTLY like they presented in Facebook! *chefs kiss* also the guy working there was so nice!!“

“Started off with the dirty teriyaki wings my wife had the chicken pot pie, which was very exceptional and I had the barbecue meatloaf dinner with mashed potatoes, covered with bacon cheese and scallions along with mixed vegetables, yellow and zucchini, squash carrots season to perfection very tender waitress Alyssa was very conscientious what we needed and was always there to help us my wife had a seasonal cider, and I had a Stella Artois beer, complemented the wings, and the dinner we also had dessert. I had the Keylime pie and my wife had the toffee bread pudding. They were both delicious. What a great way to finish off a meal.“

“If you find yourself in East Hartford CT you definitely have to stop at Augie & Ray's, the staff are always friendly I recommend their breakfast sandwiches always add a hash brown onto the sandwich you can request that, it turns a amazing sandwich into an even more amazing sandwich, I also recommend their pepper and onion cheese burger and their chili cheese dog with the toasted bun fire ?? writing this review has me wanting more I definitely will be back that's a promiseKid-friendliness: Yes definitely kid friendly“

“We just had a brunch for 70+ people after a funeral here last weekend. The owner was wonderful. I did not have to worry about a thing. The food was terrific, the staff wonderful, the venue perfect...they could even have accomodated more folks if needed. I didn't have to worry about thing. I highly recommend Cotton Hollow Kitchen. Very pleased.“

“Had to stop here on my self proclaimed "burger tour" when I drove across the country at the recommendation of George Motz. Fantastic burger cooked in a unique way which yields a very moist and juicy burger. There is so much ooiegooie cheese and the bun is soft but not soggy. I'm from California and we don't do burgers this way, but I have to tip my cap to Ted. Fantastic place. I'm sure locals know it but if you're passing by, do yourself a favor and try this local gem.“

“THE place to go for breakfast!A little old school is a good thing when it comes to the PepperPot.. cash only, friendly efficient staff, and fantastic food.I had a Breakfast burrito, eggs, bacon, Chipotle aioli, and potatoes. It was just great, tasty as heck.My GF had a Greek Omelet, spinach, feta and tomatoes. It was great and too big for her appetite, made a great lunch for me the following day.Both meals came with great hash browns.. too often hash brown are potatoes and paprika, not here they are well cooked and super tasty..Coffee is good and you will never have to track down a server for a refill, the staff is always on top of it.This place is just great and we will be back.“

But the manager said only for today then it was 4 of us and they didn’t want to divide the bill they want to spilt the bill in 4 I said no we ordered different we want to paid what we ordered.“

“We had my daughter’s baby shower at Lola’s. From the start of booking until the day of the shower. So easy to work with. The day of the shower, we were greeted with such warmth and truly our waitress for our party, Becky, was fantastic. Catered to our every need and was so beyond helpful. She worked very hard and was so pleasant! The food was amazing and plenty of it! Guests went back for seconds! Becky even went above and beyond for my mom who couldn’t eat something and prepared a new one just for her. Truly a gem of a place!
