“Hoax is a one of a kind brewery. When it comes to their sour ales, pale ales , or lagers. My personal favorite is their Sad Boi Lager. The Hoax Folks put lots of hard work and care into everything they do. It’s the only beer I drink. If you’re in Connecticut , grab some Hoax!”

“It's difficult to explain my awe at the level of service Eric provides. I don't expect to find the devotion to the customer here in the '20s. It resembles what I had expected in the '60s. Let me try, though. An order that had gone amiss was replaced and another order were delivered on his day off. Above and beyond, I know. The single origin beans are selected and roasted to a consistently high level. While I do play around with light and medium roast espresso and pour-over, The Black Kat Espresso and the Dark Moon Mexican Decaf are exquisite. You won't go wrong with either; very forgiving of the recipe. I think I have found my roaster for life.”

“This was an amazing place. I'm here visiting in Connecticut, and my daughter is a vegetarian . She asked if we could go to this restaurant, and I never had Thai food before. It was delicious. The spicy was actually spicy in a really good way, and the staff was sweet, very kind, and helpful.”

“I have lived local-ish to Bullseye, but only recently visited for the first time and then a 2nd visit soon after. The owner Dave was refreshingly down to Earth, but the primary bartender (Jess) was beyond outstanding. She asked if I'd like the specific order from my first visit and had it down flawlessly! I liked the 'order at the window/separate order' set up. Julio (forgive me if I have the wrong name) explained the \"not so plain\" wings flavor to me and they came out better than expected. I've had them twice now and both times hit the mark (no pun intended). This place is a great spot for everyone, but maybe also not for everyone, if that makes sense ??? Glad I found f it...”

“I accidentally over tipped my delivery guy in the red car and 2 minutes later he calls me saying he's outside and shows me what I gave him. What great service and he couldn't be more polite I'd recommend them to all my friends.”

“Went here with my wife, my children, my sister, and my sister's children. Our server was great. Between all of us, we got a large cheese pizza, a gluten-free pizza, meatball Parm subs, fried mozzarella (for appetizer), and chicken Parm dinner. We were all happy with our food. It was a good atmosphere.Kid-friendliness: Had my 6 year old daughter and my sister's 7 year old twins at the restaurant. The atmosphere and server were very nice for them.”

“Great venue! Love the setup, lots of little nooks for conversation. There was a water dispenser out with cups which was great, I would love to see more bars that host live music have this. Good staff, and the entertainment was excellent. Will definitely return!”

“We rented the little Italy pizza truck for my boyfriends 30th birthday, and we couldn’t be happier! First of all I’d like to point out that the party was in the back field of a farm, that had a very rough dirt road in and out. Luigi came out a few days prior to scope out the place, and said it wouldn’t be a problem. It DOWNPOURED the whole day of our party, so we were nervous about him being able to get down, not only did he make it down the dirt road all the way to the party, they showed up with smiles on their face and got right to work making their delicious pizzas! Everyone couldn’t stop talking about how good the pizza and service was. We had enough to feed over 75 people, and even had enough so people could bring some home with them. Luigi and his crew were so nice and we are so grateful for everything they did to make the party a huge success. 10/10 recommend their services!”

I been going to the deli since I was super young my grandparents lived on Gerrish Ave and we are now in the same house so The deli is definitely are go to store. Love Nam and Aum if u want an amazing cold cut sandwich this is your place you won’t be disappointed like stop n go where they put two pieces of meat. Not the deli though they load it up.”

“I can't believe I had never visited Sugar before, but better late than never! My mom requested to go for her birthday, and this bakery is a literal cupcake heaven! The staff was super nice and let us take our time to look through the cases and decide what we were going to pick out for our dozen. So many festive cupcakes for St. Patrick's Day and Easter that we loved! We've totally fallen in love with this bakery and they're by far some of the best cupcakes in CT. I already can't wait to go back!”

“Always a great place for an easy satisfying meal. The chicken and pork are especially delicious paired with rice and beans! Save room for their wonderful pastries especially the guava filled, as they are delectable and freshly made! Food is prepared in advance and dished out at counter by gloved staff behind glass dividers. Eat inside or outside or take away. Also a great place to practice your Spanish.”

“It's my first time here and definitely will come again.I 100% recommend this place. If you are looking for a colombian restaurant, this is the place to eat. I tried the chicken empanadas, bandeja paisa plate, and tres leche cake, and they all tasted delicious. “My brother wanted to take me to this new spot which used to be the old 50 Fitch in New Haven. They've cleaned up their act and the drinks were good. From what I saw coming from the kitchen the food looked and smelled good.Very small tucked away spot with the main entrance in the back of the building. If you're not familiar with the area, you may have a hard time locating it.”

“I, boy, I always like everything, I'm Mexican, but I love everything that everyone sells. The girls are bad-tempered. One asks for something and they answer badly. They want to give me something that I don't want personally. Only the boy is very kind. He does answer, very nice, but the girls. terrible service”

“This was a perfect place to satisfy our BBQ craving during the wintertime! As soon as you walk in, you're greeted with the smell of their delicious cooking. We were really big fans of their ribs, pulled pork Mac, and steak and cheese eggrolls. They've been making the same homemade recipes for 30+ years and I hope they never change a thing! What an East Haven gem. Even the cheesecake was homemade and so fluffy. All of the staff we met were incredibly welcoming and nice to talk to. We'll be back!!”

“It's a local deli...several men gather around a table having coffee and talking...the owner and his family along with Mike, the best cook/chef in town. Chicken Parm, Eggplant Parm to die for...everything is delicious and always greeted with a smile!”

“Been here a few times. Have never been disappointed. Took my Dad, Aunt and Sister for lunch yesterday. Everyone ordered the Shrimp & Clam Strip Platters. I had the Zuppa Di Pesce. Food was Amazing!!! Ashley was Great!! Anthony & Michael stopped by the table to say Hello. My Dad has something negative to say no matter where we take him. He Loved everything!! Even the fries and coleslaw!! He couldn’t believe the amount of food he got or the size of the Shrimp!! Great Job Everyone. We will all definitely be back!”

“Miss the old school fast food atmosphere. Very stark like a prison. Technology is great, but at the cost of great customer service from the cashier only makes the vibe worse. Aside from that, the food was hot and fresh.”

“My husband picked up 6 tacos and 1 burrito, it was huge! The tacos had excellent flavor and all we added to them were a little salt and salsa. The huge burrito was well rolled and didn’t fall apart, I loved it! We’re going back for more!”
