“I was my first time there. When you enter your greated at the door by a friendly staff, promptly your seated and given some home made nachos with salsa and bean dip, they arrive warm and really crispy, the atmosphere is quite pleasant the staff is always on point asking weather you need anything and how is your service experience. I got into a small conversation with one of the waiters and mentioned i was there for my birthday only to be surprised by a big sombrero and a staff singing to me. I was in shock but very happy they served me a complimentary dessert as well as complimentary ceviche made of tilapia fish. I must warn you if you go here please go hungry because the portions are ridiculously huge. I didnt give 5 stars because i plan on visiting again then i will edit my review accordingly”

“This place is completely goated. I have been going here since literal babyhood. The sushi is so yummy. I love the spicy salmon avocado roll and the sweet potato rolls. I also love the eel and yellowtail fish and salmon too. The sushimi is great! The waiters are always cleaning the tables they are excellent. The walls have cute Chinese ladies in dresses on them and the restaurant is baby-friendly. I love the calamari shrimp udon soup for an appetizer. Make sure to come in hungry, you won't regret it!”

The two things going on at the same time created an exciting yet chill atmosphere.Parking: The parking lot of the restaurant itself is very small, like 6 spots, but there is ample free marked spots to park on the side street.Wheelchair accessibility: It's a single floor building with regular tables (a whole section) as well even though it's mostly a very large bar. So accessibility would not be an issue at all.”

“Use to order here a long time ago, and ordered recently not knowing it was under new management. Felt for a slice of pizza, but since they didn't have slices, I brought a small pizza. The second time I requested it a certain way and he delivered. I ate the entire box, you would think I was eating for 2, guest my appetite is back. The sauce did not burn my chest at all and I ate it late at night. I would recommend ordering from here.”

“Thai Smile is amazing! My coworkers and I have sampled nearly every item on the menu and they are all delicious! The owners and staff are so friendly and welcoming. Our favorite dishes are the Massaman Curry, Tamarind Shrimp, and Spicy Bamboo, but every dish is so tasty and flavorful. Absolutely the best Thai food around!!”

“I go every day to get coffee from my faves, Shelia and Camille! The Chai is my go-to, but I sometimes get a Caramel Macchiato from them if I need some more caffeine. Only issue is they always run out of bagels and pastries by around 11am and I'm lucky if I can get anything like that later on. Probably the best dining hall station on campus, but go early if you wanna get something to eat. They need to get more food inventory.”

“This is my absolute favorite restaurant. I used to go here twice a week during college, always getting a plain grilled chicken grinder, fries and a Mountain Dew. It got to the point where they saw my number, answered and just took my card info. The bread is so tasty, the seasoning on the food is delicious, and every time I visit (I moved to Texas years ago), I try to stop here at least twice to get my favorite sandwich. Can't recommend them enough!!!”

Jodi answered my first inquiry in a flash and all correspondence there after was instantaneous. My cookies were beautiful and delicious. Shipping was on time and everything came in tact. “Really cool spot to relax, bring your laptop, meet with friends. Nice overall vibe. You can rent movies here. They also have snacks, coffee, teas, smoothies, pastries, yogurt to purchase as well. Sometimes their teas don't present as much flavor as I would've expected but they do seem to have various healthy options.”

“What a lovely story of the beginning of a sweet little spot! The baguettes are absolutely perfect! The SCONES are a real treat! Coffee is flavorful and steamed milk with every cup! Hard to choose, although the grilled veg on focaccia and tropical salad are my go to. I once had a Tuna Nicoise Baguette it's still one of my all time favorite sandwiches! Of course the Service is excellent!”

“A M A Z I N G!!! The food is absolutely delicious. My husband and I were down this was running errands. I decided to look on yelp and see what's good and what would peak my interest. I love a good empanada. Very small quaint place. No inside seating but on a nice day there was a couple tables outside. I ordered white rice and beans for my husband, who is super finicky. I ordered one shrimp and one chicken empanada, pernil on a roll and mango cheesecake. Delicious! My husband said it's the best rice and beans he's had in a long time. Empanadas full of flavor. I actually don't really love pernil because people cook it so dry. This pernil was so flavorful, moist and juicy. Delicious. The mango cheesecake was just the right sweetness. The sandwich I gave half to my husband so I'd have room for the cheesecake. The owner was so friendly and helpful. Food took about 7 minutes to prepare. If you're in the 5 highly recommend trying it out.”

“A great family owned business to check out, especially if you like sushi or poké! Their prices are affordable and their portion sizes are good. I was honestly pleasantly surprised by how tasty my spicy tuna roll and tuna avocado roll was. It isn't the best quality, but for the value, definitely with it! Their lunch combo is $11 for 2 rolls or $14.50 for 3 rolls plus a drink or miso soup. My partner got their build your own poké bowl and shared that it was one of the better poké bowls he has had! The service was great and they also have free parking and seats inside.”

“There's a good amount of parking in their lot that runs alongside the Farmington Trail. There's indoor and outdoor seating available. Inside is comfortable, with a diner atmosphere in a well maintained and clean restaurant. The food is very good with reasonable sized servings at good prices. Definitely will be back!”

“First timers. My wife and I like to visit different local coffee shops on Sundays. Very cute, clean place. I had an iced mocha latte and wife had hot mocha latte. Coffee flavor was very good. For a fairly new start up, I was very impressed, my only constructive criticism would be to offer more extras in the form of syrups to add to coffees. And I think adding frappes to the menu would definitely bring in a lot more customers during warm weather. I have a personal favorite of frappe that I helped another coffee shop(Cheshire) create and everyone that has gone there, or that I have made at home, call it their “crack” of all coffees(frappes). I will certainly be returning to Ground Up Coffee and with hopes of seeing one of the owners and I can share my favorite and additional extras which I feel would bring in a whole other group of customers. A very good and friendly place.”

His baked goods are a lost art and so is the feel of his shop. It is as unique and retro as he is and that is a GOOD thing. He’s one of the few left that knows his customers by name as they walk in and strive to make sure everyone is treated well sure he takes weirdly long vacations and leaves hilarious messages on his phone. If you want Impersonal Dunkin baked goods baked in a factory in who knows where this ain’t it. My husband loved the taste and kept mentioning it when it got closer to his birthday this year so I, of course, had to get another one. It was AMAZING! Everyone loved it and a few said it was the best cake they’d ever had. Yellow cake with cheesecake filling and buttercream- highly recommend. Steve was also great with communicating and working through my indecisiveness about the design.”

“My family LOVES ASHLEY'S!! If you haven't been there it is a must! Hands down the best ice cream in Connecticut! They rotate flavors constantly and always have something for every taste including frozen yogurt. They come up with the best combinations, and the sundaes are fantastic! There are so many toppings to choose from, and everything tastes fresh. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is fun with customers artwork adorning the walls. You can sample any flavor you'd like, and they have a "pup cup" for the family dog. It comes complete with a little biscuit, adorable. I would pay a lot more for their ice cream too, but they have somehow kept prices down. It doesn't get better than Ashley's. Every member of my family has one of their T-shirts. Not to mention that there is a great backstory to the place and it's a family owned business. I hope it's there forever!”

“A robust poke bowl place. Fish is good, portions are good, selection of add-ins is various enough. I wish they had better sauces but you can get a decent sauce if you order a mixture. My favorite bowl mix is: white rice, tuna, edamame, mango, sweet and savory sauce, green onion, diakon, seaweed salad, masago, shredded nori. It is crunchy, sweet, savory and aesthetically pleasing. Please like this review if you like this bowl too.”

It was my mother, my 10-year-old, my 2-year-old, my 10 year old's best friend, and IWe all got burgers and milkshakes and then we got a couple of fries to split between everybody.My milkshake, was a key lime pie milkshake, and that was the one thing I didn't really like too much. It was the aftertaste. I think they forgot to add graham crackers to it. The picture shows graham cracker crumbs but I really don't think they added it because I didn't see them at all. That's the only reason I give four stars and not 5.If you do go to wayback burgers, expect to have to wait for your food for 15 minutes or so. But you should be happy about that. That means you're getting everything dropped fresh specifically for your food. That's one thing I like about wayback burgers similar to five guys.I got one of those fancy burgers as did my son and my mom. My son's best friend got a regular cheeseburger and my two year old got the chicken tender kids meal with Powerade and fries. We split two fries between all of us besides my babies kids fry and there was even too much fries for the four of us lol.It was really good though. My son got a strawberry milkshake and it was absolutely amazing. I tried it. My two year old seemed to like my key lime pie shake but that's because he likes anything that's creamy and Ice cream like ??Thank you for the wonderful experience given the fact it was the first time any of us had eaten wayback burgers. And what a great experience it wasIf anybody is going to try to give you lower star ratings because they had to wait too long for their burger, then they are ignorant because they would also complain if you gave them a burger that was already cooked for the price that they have to pay for the burger.I'm not really sure what people expect, for five guys you also have to wait just like with wayback burgers. It's not a $2 burger from Wendy's or mcdonalds. It's a burger that is worth the price.Kid-friendliness: They have a kid's meal selection and they also have seats for toddlers. High chair seats.”
