Absolutely hands down the best white margarita pizza. The crust is soft and chewy inside and crispy outside. Delicious!! I alsogot the olive appetizer which had a delicious lemon flavor. I’ll be back!

Can happily recommend almost anything on the menu. I loved the smoked olives the most. Loved the white smoked pizza. Creative and tasty offerings. They say there is a time limit on how long you can be at your table when you make a reservation but we never felt rushed. Fun atmosphere. Big shout out to chef Mike. Try this place. You'll love it.

I went with a group of 5. Pizza was great so we're the appetizers. The pizza crust had a bit to much char. The drinks were expensive but well put together. Somehow they had drinks on the menu with botanical vodka or some infused vodka but somehow couldn't give you the same vodka with seltzer? All in all we enjoyed our experience.

The food was so good! I love the pizza oven - for the taste and also enjoy watching. The burrata was mouthwatering! The roasted olives were hot, flavorful and zippy! White pies we tried were Buffalo Chicken and Sunny Side which got rave reviews. For red pies we got Sweet & Spicy Roni & Margherita - hot, scrumptious, crispy - so good! Service was good, warm and friendly. The atmosphere was pleasantly busy and comfortable.

Staff was great. Party of 8 turned into 17 and they accommodated the group and provided great service. They also accommodated a request to make a sensory challenged diner comfortable!

Fictitious Elements

Updated my review after coming here a few times over a few years. Nothing has changed. Food is fine for what it is but pretty unoriginal at this point. Servers are hit or miss, forgetting things like drink orders and utensils. Portions are smaller than other pizza shops and the prices are dollars higher for the size. Cool atmosphere but that gets old fast. Won't be returning.

1st pizza we ordered was a pepperoni, fantastic phenomenal, looks just like the picture, few weeks later decided to venture out again, ordered the margharita, did not look like the picture in the least, undercooked, small, so thin, it was as if they were running low on dough, sorry guys, would love to give you 5 stars, but if I wanted dough and sauce in a jar, I would've gone to Stop n Shop.

Loving the vibe of krust. Always a cozy spot for friends to meet and have a night out on Main Street. Great services, great food, great drinks, and never gets old! Wish there was a location closer to Simsbury in our area! Pictures say it all. Huge fan of the pepperoni pies and hanger steak special appetizers.

Used to love this place. The pizza is still quite good, but we visited on a weekday when we were just one of a few tables seated and it took us over two hours to get in and out. We ordered a salad, pizza, and a beer each. Beer was good. Cocktail list and wine was uninspiring. Would have ordered another beer, but no one checked on us. Overall, I would meet people here if they suggested it, but I wouldn't go out of my way to return. Disappointed the menu was a just a QR code.

Pizza is probably the most subjective culinary item to review. There are so many types of pizza styles that suit everyone differently. I tried a few of Krust's pizzas yesterday on some take-out on my 4th trip to this restaurant. However, an unfortunate consistency overshadowed my experiences - a recurring issue with tough, overcooked dough that left a lingering dissatisfaction. The dough, a cornerstone of any pizza artisan's craft, failed to live up to expectations. All 3 pizzas we got yesterday were overcooked. They were extremely dry (even the basic red-plain cheese pizza). It had a potato-chip-like crunch to it and its relentless toughness rendered the eating process arduous, akin to a culinary challenge fit for a robust canine. The Chicken Parm was a wild bold choice, but was intriguing. When I opened the box, I tilted my head and thought, 'Oh ok, it is their take on chicken parm.' I wanted to love it though. The chicken was oven-roasted meat and tasted good but didn't have a chicken parm or cutlet vibe. They sprinkled bread crumbs and garlic over the whole pizza, rather than batter-encrusted chicken pieces. Odd, but again it's the chef's rendition of the idea. The paper-thin, dry, and overcooked dough proved a formidable adversary, as each slice shed its 'parm' breadcrumbs like an unwarranted downpour. While I understand that gourmet pizza is an art in its own right, I don't think this worked. Smh. Shifting focus to Krust's overall ambiance, decor, and service, the establishment exudes a distinctive charm. The warm wood textures and an extensive selection of bourbons and craft beers contribute to a unique dining experience. Despite the culinary missteps, the pleasant staff and the overall atmosphere distinguish Krust as a one-of-a-kind pizza destination. My last gripe is with the tech. While the online ordering process was seamless, the subsequent lack of updates post-confirmation left me in the dark. A prompt arrival at the promised hour revealed my order was ready, but an untimely text message, 5.5 hours later saying my pizza was ready for pickup, further compounded the technological hiccup. While it would be unfair to solely attribute this delay to Krust, the combined inconvenience, coupled with the dough debacle, raised eyebrows. I'll probably go to Krust again when I crave a different kind of pizza because they are local for me. But honestly, if they weren't in town I don't think it is worth the drive to be wowed by pizza.

Won't be back. Unhelpful waiter attitude. Sent back a burnt pie and rec'd a raw replacement as our obvious retribution.
