Everything was amazing and cooked fresh. The pupusas and pechuga de pollo were incredible, and they have the best birria tacos I have ever had. We will definitely be back, nice to know a good spot like this

Food was way too greasy. Too many flavors that did not blend well. Was looking forward to Spanish rice, the rice was instant rice. Mofongo did not taste like it was fresh.Fried beef needed to be fried longer, the chunks were way too big with too much fat on them.Other then that service and atmosphere was awesome. I’m just being honest.

Absolutely amazing food. I don’t know who supplies their produce, but they have the juiciest limes and incomprehensibly high-quality avocados. Chips are made onsite and well worth the wait.

After reading the lovely review in CT magazine we set out to try this place. The pupusas, accompanying slaw and sauces were very good. Mofongo and fried chicken entrees were just alright, overly long under a heat lamp. The poor server, very gracious, needed someone else working alongside her on the floor. Service was too leisurely on a wed night.

You know how you go to a Mexican restaurant and in 30 seconds the server is bringing your order. Parts are scalding hot, other parts ice cold and you know it was just microwaved. Happens too often. But NOT HERE. The guacamole was fresh made and was fresh tasting- a bright green color with a nice flavor. It took at least 10 minutes for our order to be prepared properly, then served promptly and friendly. And tasty. The first reason I did not score this a five is that while flavorful, it all seemed kind of muted. I like full flavor. I ordered a dish with spicy beef and the green salsa I was told was a medium heat. The beef wasn't spicy and the salsa had no heat. Please give me more flavor. A second and minor reason was they call themselves a Latin restaurant which to me evokes a wide range of possibilities. In the end it mostly just Mexican. The final reason is it just seems a bit pricey. Good food, great clean ambiance, friendly service just a little on the high side. So above are my observations. In the end I know we'll be back as the positives far outweigh the few critiques.
