“This was the first time for us trying Niuda Noodle & Sushi. The ramen bowls we had were quite tasty (Braised Beef noodle and Tonkotsu) and satisfying. The staff was friendly and the restaurant, while small just had a nice vibe to it. I'm looking forward to my next meal there to try something else.“

“I’ve always wanted to try soup dumplings, but didn’t want to make the drive out to Hartford.I saw that Steamed was right on Washington St, and decided to go on a little study-dinner by myself. The staff was nice and the inside of the restaurant was as well! I got the Thai tea, wonton pork soup, and the pork soup dumplings!I would say that the food tasted authentic in the sense that it’s very traditional (not like “western” Chinese food). So it seemed slightly bland at first, but after putting their table side chili oil and soy sauce on everything, it tasted pretty good! It was a wonderful experience having soup dumplings for the first time along with all the other restaurant goer’s as well.Kid-friendliness: They have forks in case you’re not able to use chop sticks (I hope nobody saw me spear my dumpling at one point - metal chop sticks are easier for me to use)“

“I tried this place for the first time today. It’s a little small on the inside but other than that, everything was amazing. I got the bbq Mac and couldn’t have been more amazed with how good the food was. The workers there r very polite, I’ll definitely be back“

“We ordered takeout on a Thursday night. Wife got combo pho with extra tendon and extra flank steak. She said it was fresh and delicious, it was the first time she's ever gotten enough tendon and meat in a pho which is a huge win for me (happy wife happy life). It was clean and cute inside. The wonderful woman at the counter, Nicole, was very personable and kind - she hooked us up with extra fish sauce and treated me so well that I have a new favorite pho restaurant. I had the grilled pork on vermicelli with an egg roll. 10/10 perfectly cooked and great flavor. I don't usually post reviews but I was especially impressed tonight. Thank you!“

“Mae Kong is a great littleThai restaurant . The owner cares about her food and it shows . It is a small place tasteful but simple atmosphere . I have eaten here for many years . It is one of the few restaurants in downtown New Britain that has withstood the rest of time. While many others have come and gone Mae Kong survives. The menu is varied and contains many Thai dishes you won't find elsewhere . I have Tom Yum Khoong soup, the Larb, Pad-See-ew, a couple of Prik dishes, the green, Panang and Mussaman curries as well as several other dishes . All ver excellent. S solid and relatable Thai restaurant. It's BYOB.“
