Ordered takeout in person for lunch Lamb korma and chicken tiki masala and vegetable samosas and two orders of naan. It was about 2 in the afternoon a few people dining (5/6) not terribly busy. The host who I ordered with was pleasant, said would be about 20 minutes. I came back about 20 minutes and my food was already waiting for me. The lamb was mild and okay, the samosas were actually pretty good. The chicken tried a piece and couldn’t eat it, we moved the sauce to find THE CHICKEN COMPLETELY RAW!! Absolutely inedible, every piece. I understand things happen and if it gets busy etc but this was completely unacceptable. Will not be back nor my coworkers in town.

Great atmosphere and service. I got the vegetable pakora as an appetizer and it was delicious. I also got the chicken vindaloo (medium spice) and it was also great. Just spicy enough to make my nose runny. Chicken was decent quality. Garlic Naan was not flavorful enough in my opinion but well cooked. Overall, a lovely place.

One word: AMAZING!! We ordered takeout from Tandoor a few days ago and my family is still raving about how good the food was! We were greeted with incredible customer service over the phone as we asked many questions about the menu. We also learned that the restaurant is under new ownership and 100% Halal. We ordered multiple dishes from the Indo-Chinese menu and were absolutely blown away by the incredible taste. Everything was seasoned to perfection and not oily at all! The portion sizes were larger than we expected which was a huge delight! We were savoring every bite as we were engulfed in a world of flavor which was true and authentic to the South Asian taste palette. We also noticed the nice serene ambience of the restaurant itself when we went to go pick up the food; great spot for date night or a meal with the family! All in all, we highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for great South Asian cuisine in central Connecticut! We cannot wait to come back to Tandoor for more!Dietary restrictions: 100% Halal

The food was mainly unremarkable. Bland rice and slightly oily malai chicken. Well crisped naan, perfectly cooked. Service was exceptional, no complaints on that front.

Great authentic Bangladeshi/South Asian food at a convenient spot the restaurant radiates warmth, enhanced by a helpful staff. The Lamb Gyro is top notch. Tandoor gets a perfect ten out of ten for timely and pleasant service. A real difference with new management!

Tandoor, truly stands out for its exceptional Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine. Nestled conveniently, the restaurant exudes warmth, complemented by an attentive staff. My recent discovery, the Kacchi Biryani, is a flavor revelation – aromatic basmati rice and perfectly spiced meat make it a must-try. Service is prompt and friendly, earning Tandoor a solid 10/10. An authentic dining experience not to be missed!

This was my first time at Tandoor, and it won't be the last. I've never had a Tikka so flavorful and delightful. Please do yourself a flavor and go. The Tikka pairs so well with the garlic naan. Or grab the Tikka mac and cheese. That's a dish you'll get seconds of (and happily).

Fictitious Elements

Can't speak to the food because it never showed up. When I called to ask an hour and a half after ordering, they were rude, and the only way I could cancel was through GrubHub. Better places ten minutes away this is definitely a skip.

Absolutely disgusting, the lamb curry was ridiculously watery, and the roti was not roti, I have no ideal what it was, however, it was not roti, it was dry and tasted bland. I will never go to this restaurant again ?
