“50th birthday party was amazing!!! Conner was the man!!! great food and beautiful brewery“
“The beer is delicious and the food is worth a trip by itself. We had a large group and got a bunch of different pizzas. They were all home runs. Same goes for the wings. Been dreaming of the pizza since I left!“
“Warm hospitality ,fine choices of Mead served elegantly . A must vist , in Middletown Ct“
“Great local beer, a friendly brewer, good snacks and nice atmosphere“
“There are limited hours but worth the visit. The brewer/owner takes real pride in their beer and lets you sample the product and then order individual cans. All the beers are good but there are some that really fit my palate and I was able order a custom amount of cans. I’ll be back and I really appreciate this unique brewery with really really good unique beers. This place is about passionate beers rather than just making sales.“
“Really well crafted beers. The inside of the brewery is built and decorated to give you a warm, cozy feel. You will not feel like you're on Main St in EH. It made me feel like I was in a brewery in NH or ME. Worth the trip! Will definitely be back!“
“Hosted a small gathering here and everything was amazing! Reserving tables was quick and easy, and we were able to set up decorations/bring in our own food. Great selection of beers, cocktails, and liquor - and great staff too! Recommend this spot to enjoy a beer, or host a party!“
“Wonderful craft beers and ciders are only the first attribute of Stubborn Beauty. The knowledgeable and kind staff make one feel welcome at their beautiful facility in a former 19th century brick factory building. You can BYOF takeout of choice to enjoy with their drinks either inside the brewery or at one the many picnic tables on their elegant outdoor terrace. This is a great place to hold functions like parties, fundraising galas, etc.“
“What a Great Venue! I've held 2 events there and everything was fantastic! highly reccomend.“
“Friendly staff and great lineup of beers in the historic Colt Firearms factory. Great history and atmosphere.“
“A brewery, in my parochial hometown? It's more likely than you think. In fact, we have two now, but Counterweight is more crowded than most beehives, so relax and go to the calmer, quieter, smaller brewery. Nestled in a little plaza after Richard Chevrolet and Copeland Auto, Cheshire Craft is a nano-brewery with the tanks on full display right after you walk in. I've tried everything on their menu (at the moment) and I've never had a bad beer here. There's usually a food truck out back, too. I always stop here when I'm visiting family, and you should stop here, too.“

“Their beers are excellent. They have a six oz option so we tried several and liked all of them. They have staff that serve you at your table so you don't need to go to the bar. Everyone we spoke with there was friendly and knowledgeable about their beer. It is near the train station but you can only see the bottom of the trains from inside the brewery. They close at 8 pm, I hope they consider extending their hours.“
“We just had our baby shower at Counter Weight this past weekend and had an amazing time! The venue is beautiful and the staff was amazing! We worked with Nick to plan our event in the upstairs beer hall and even though we completely changed our contract the week of the event, Nick was super accommodating! The beer is amazing and they also have amazing non-alcoholic options. Thank you for helping us host a baby shower to remember forever!“
“We hosted our friend’s Celebration of Life at WeHa. Cody was flexible with us about the date/timing of the party as it coincided with an already pre-planned event. Additionally, he was very responsive to our many emails! The venue was beautiful, and it was a great location to get 100 people together to raise a glass to our live who passed.“
“Don't sleep on this place; Hopmeadow's beers are incredible and always true to style. Their staff is helpful & knowledgeable and truly family-owned & run which is rare these days. The place is gorgeous as well- so many personal touches and handmade art. Perfect chill spot for dates. They have lots of long tables so they're great for group hangs too. Go!!“
“Still Hill Brewery is located amongst some industrial offices. It looks unassuming from the outside, just like the rest of the business in the area. But inside you'll be greeted with the most pleasant bartender and a nice variety of beers. Still Hill is a smaller brewery. It's got a variety of seating available inside as well as a few outside. When I went there was a band playing some 60s music. They were very good! Some people were dancing. I had the Fruitatious Sourpuss Blood Orange Pomegranate. This was refreshing and tart, a good sour. My friend had the HoneyCrisp cider, this one is very light and crisp, I didn't try this one, but the name and very light nature of this one, seem like that's the perfect name for it.They have a variety of games to play, we played Uno cards while the band played and we drank our beers. They don't offer any food at Still Hill, but you are welcome to bring your own.“
“A nice brewery and eatery with a variety of craft beer, ciders, and wine available. They offer a nice line up of beers from IPAs to stouts. The Graze eatery offers your typical pub snacks and meal options. The friendly staff and owners make sure you are taken care of. The brewery offers a nice outdoor patio with a fire pit and a view of the Arrigoni bridge over the Connecticut River. Many weekends the brewery offers live music. This brewery tucked by the bridge is worth finding.“
“Great place to hear some good music, have a couple of drinks and enjoy the atmosphere. Will absolutely go back.“
“I had never been to City Steam until recently but now I’m kicking myself for never going. The layout of the place is incredible and I can’t believe Hartford has something like this place. In top of that the dood and drinks are amazing. It’s our fault guys, we never should have never allowed this to happen to a place as cool as City Steam.“
“Loud, happening brewery in downtown Hartford. Came late afternoon Saturday during March Madness and it was packed. Seating is first come, first served. Luckily a couple was leaving the bar area and we got to sit there. Beers were too bad and food was tasty. We enjoyed onion rings and fries, Philly steak sandwich, Buffalo chicken empanadas and a special sandwich on the menu. Beer and food is paid separately unless you're at the bar. We had a gift card giving us issues and luckily a bartender took care of it for us. Will check this place out again before a Yard Goats game this summer...“
