“4.5We had a great time and with a party of 6(+ child) we were able to sample a nice variety (pastas, salads, wood fired chicken, pizza + cocktails). Everything was delicious and fresh. The space is open with lots of windows - so nice afternoon/evening light. The staff was generally attentive and always friendly and accommodating. We will be back.“
“I appreciate the remedy's Culture cafe so much! Their Kimchi is the best! You always feel healthier just walking in there. Surprising variety of condiments and smoothies and even supplements and teas. Jog don't walk to their cozy space on State St.“

“Very fresh food. I ordered falafel and hummus. It was super fresh and tasted good. I would suggest to add salt and some more flavor, it will take it to really next level. Vibe of the place is super cool. Also place is run for the very good cause. Highly recommend! Good veg, vegan and gluten free options.Vegetarian options: Good veg, vegan and gluten free options.Parking: Street parking with app to pay“
“Quality of coffee: 4 - good espresso drinks. I've tried them a couple dozen times and they have become more consistent this past year or so. There are flavoring options like hazelnut etc. Coffee (black) is slightly above average. Atmosphere: 4.5 - great seating areas and nooks in a historic hotel. Usually, students are studying at the various tables. Location: 5 - heart of downtown within walking distance to hundreds of restaurants and great bus/train service. Service: 5 - helpful staffValue: 4 - decent pricing Average: 4.5I can't recommend food options, as I've only had coffee here.“

“Lovely very friendly staff. Coffee is a solid 4/5, could go for a slightly more flavorful bean, but I happily drank it. Baked items are pretty good as well. It has a decent footprint but not a lot of seating which was fine but they can do better.“

“Nice coffee + food, fun atmosphere and nice staff. I really, really enjoy their pour-overs. Recently, I was feeling a little festive and found their pumpkin spice latte surprisingly delicious as well - very cohesive and flavorful, and not overly sweet.“

“I truly regret that this was only my first time at Luke Brasserie. The family and I came for a special occasion on a Thursday. By unanimous consent, this is our new favorite restaurant in New Haven. Started with a complimentary prosecco while waiting for the table to be prepared... nice touch and a good start. The menu is geared towards sharing which worked really well for us, since we like to try different things and are always picking at each others plate. What really made this work though was the service. After each plate, a server would swoop in and quietly replace the plates and silverware. They were very knowledgeable about the plates and recommendations were spot on. But the food is the star in this restaurant. It's gourmet without being pretentious. We had: Hamachi and tuna seared with brown butter plates to start. Both were fantastic, Tuna was dramatic. Polenta with cheese and truffle and rigatoni plates for the second round. Polenta was rich and creamy and truffley. Rigatoni was spectacular, sauce was creamy but had something I couldn't put my finger on that just seemed to elevate it. Mabey it was just cooked perfectly... I dont know. Along the way we were given a complementary plate of white asparagus by the chef. This might have been the best plate. Served with some kind of emulsion and cheese on top. Main dish, the 4 of us were getting full at this point, was the snapper. Capers, olives, butter, those little broccoli rabe buds (I think). Cooked perfectly, super subtle taste, and delicious. At the end of the meal, complimentary desert of strawberry ice with a dollop of mascarpone. This was the best meal I've had in the US for years and is now our go-to spot in New Haven. This place is the real deal 4 people, $260 with tip and drinks. Not cheap but excellent value IMO considering the quality.“
