“they have the best people! a lot of stores close quite a few minutes before the stated closing time, but olmo still took my order one minute before their closing time! i saw a family of five with little children who wanted to visit the shop a few minutes after the closing time and they still let them order. i thought it was super kind and thoughtful of them. plus, they have such gooooood bagels!“

“Cute little joint for a quick brew. There is technically seating but it's tiny- think garden shed- so I'd recommend you grab and go. Nice waitstaff, especially the older gentleman. Would try the middle eastern pastries, as they seem to be locally made fresh, while the baked goods are more standard.“

“This was my very first time in this one particular and I was very much impressed with its cleanliness, elegance, and a majority of the presentation of their baked goods. 4 out of 5!!!! I’m terribly sorry that you lost a star but that matcha brownie tasted absolutely disgusting. Never again will I buy it!!! Sorry sweetheart but it’s lacking sugar. However I do love the sweet cream filled bread you sold me. Thank you very much for helping me figure out what I want for breakfast tomorrow. Lastly, the cream green tea cake was absolutely divine. All this from being served by an incredibly gorgeous and really cashier/manager who I had to tip handsomely. I’ll definitely stop by on payday to give their specialty caffeinated drinks a try.“

“Quality of coffee: 4 - good espresso drinks. I've tried them a couple dozen times and they have become more consistent this past year or so. There are flavoring options like hazelnut etc. Coffee (black) is slightly above average. Atmosphere: 4.5 - great seating areas and nooks in a historic hotel. Usually, students are studying at the various tables. Location: 5 - heart of downtown within walking distance to hundreds of restaurants and great bus/train service. Service: 5 - helpful staffValue: 4 - decent pricing Average: 4.5I can't recommend food options, as I've only had coffee here.“

“Their coffee is delicious. I am a decaf girl, and the mocha was superb. Prices are not so bad at about $6.00 for Large 20oz. Beats the chain coffee by leaps and bounds. Cozy seating areas and desks to work at. This is a local place for students working on their studies or chatting. Super busy on a Thursday afternoon. Stop by for some of the best Koffeeee. I got a parking spot right outside which was shocking.“

“Nice coffee + food, fun atmosphere and nice staff. I really, really enjoy their pour-overs. Recently, I was feeling a little festive and found their pumpkin spice latte surprisingly delicious as well - very cohesive and flavorful, and not overly sweet.“

“I'm not a local to New Haven but every time I'm here this is one of my favorite go to restaurants!! This is the definition of a family run business and you can tell they put love into the food they make. I absolutely love it here and could not recommend it enough. The service is always so fast and the ambiance is so cute.“

“I needed some coffee and desert after visiting the Yale University Art gallery, this was a perfect location and only short walk away. Not a large space, but a fun atmosphere nonetheless. Many students hanging out who seem to be studying indefinitely which made finding an available seat somewhat difficult for new, paying customers. A rather chaotic ordering process, it's unclear where to order/pickup, etc. So, I just jumped in and ordered a couple glazed old fashioned donuts and a cup of coffee. The service was nice and prompt however and I have no complaints there at all. I was in luck to be able to grab a stool by the door along the wall. I'm a life long serial donut dunker.....the coffee was hot and tasty and was perfect for dunking in. If you're in the area and want something sweet check out Donut Crazy. They definitely make a good donut!“

“Always been a fan of G Cafe Bakery. Now I can buy my favorite bread and pastries near my hose. What a pleasure was also learning that they roast their own coffee! A great cup of coffee too! Lunch is also very good, especially their home made soups!! Thank you guys and keep it up!“

“This is one of the best DDs ! The service is always good, the crew is very friendly and polite and they work well together, including when there's people out the door. They keep it moving, I will go out of my way just to buy my everything bagel from these folks..“
“During lunch break from having to serve jury duty I found this coffee shop down the street and decided to pop in. The two behind the counter were very friendly and inviting, and the special grilled cheese with tomato or bacon with soup was PERFECT . the chicken corn chowder came out piping hot and didn't even need any salt or pepper. I'm usually skeptical when someone has to make my coffee instead of me doing it, but unlike dunkin donuts the gentleman made it just right! they seem to have a familiar and friendly customer fan base, and I would definitely go back again.“

“Cute little place, it has acai bowls, smoothies but also toast and different snacks. They told me everything was gluten free. I wanted to know if their oats were certified gf, so they called someone and told me they were. Staff wasn’t really well trained on gluten or their ingredients, but they were willing to inform elsewhere and maybe they just started when I got there. I felt assured enough to order (have celiac/gluten allergy)I got a almond butter acai bowl that was delicious. Downside was that the acai bowl wasn’t properly mixed, got some big frozen chunks of strawberry still in there. But overall good experience.“

“I stumbled across this cafe on my commute. What a great place! The workers are so nice and sweet. A great place to do some work for all my students out there. I got the snickerdoodle latte, 10 out of 10. Reasonable pricing I would say too. Definitely coming here again?“
“Finally, a coffee shop where the baristas are as excellent as their coffee. Great spot.“
