“Great food and very kind people. I could not find the garlic naan I had ordered so I called back (close to closing) as I thought they forgot. Sam was ready to set things right. After we hung up I actually found the garlic naan (glad I didn’t take a refund) but could not call back as it was closed when I found the naan. Thank you Sam for being very accommodating, great food and great customer service.“

“This is the best spot in Connecticut for Indian food. I’ve tried the chicken biryani, lamb vindaloo, and the chicken tikka masala. The most elite, mouth-watering Indian food I’ve tried in the state. Don’t waste your time trying any other spot! Highly recommend.“

“Came in on a whim, I had initially been planning on eating dumplings tonight but the dumpling place was closed. I was blown away by the food, absolutely delicious and Srihari (the waiter) helped me pick an appetizer and entree that was perfect for me (I love spicy food but can't eat it as much as I used to because of stomach issues). The okra was very crispy, wonderfully spiced, and was just a tiny bit spicy. It was spicy enough to enhance the flavor but not so spicy that I'd start sweating. The tikka masala was also delicious. The sauce was very creamy and flavorful without being drowned in oil. The chicken was tender and really soaked in the flavor of the sauce. It was served with light, fluffy long grained rice. I also ordered a side of buttered naan, which was fantastic. The naan was lightly seasoned and generously buttered, making it the perfect accoutrement for the creamy masala. It added just the right bit of flavor and structure to the dish.In addition to the fantastic food, the wait staff was superb. As I mentioned, the waiter (Srihari) who took my order was extremely helpful. He helped me pick my entire order and was very attentive to my table during my whole meal even though the restaurant had a fair bit of diners in it, including a couple larger tables where he'd likely get better tips. He came by with exactly what I needed, when I needed it, from refills to to go boxes, without being overbearing. While I was eating, he'd generally leave me alone except to ask once how the food was. Then, right when I was done eating, he came by and offered to get boxes and the check. Absolutely perfect service! Srihari wasn't the only helpful staff member either, a waitress also came by my table several times. One time she was bussing another table and just happened to notice my water was low. She came by and refilled it without me saying anything even though I wasn't 'her' table. From start to end, I had a wonderful meal here and will definitely be coming back again! I would've attached more pictures, but the food was so good, I completely forgot about it until I was already done.“

“Great spot for South Indian cuisine. Would recommend trying if you are looking for a light breakfast.I tried the onion & chilli uttapam (rice pancakes) and the $5.5 Idlis (steamed rice dumplings), both come with a side of coconut chutney and sambhar (lentil soup).Pros:1) Competitive price2) Authenticity: As close as it can get to South Indian cuisine in America.3) Taste: Very goodCons:1) Located in the corner of the food court in the mall which makes it difficult to spot. Will try their lunch/dinner meal next which is for $18.99 and update the review. The items on the menu look great.Vegetarian options: Lot of vegetarian options“

“While in Stamford, a friend and I felt like having Indian food for lunch and found this gem. The food was spot on and presented nicely. The waiter was very gracious, patient, very pleasant and answered all of our many questions, describing things well.My friend ordered Lamb Kadhai Methiwala (onions, bell peppers and fresh fenugreek.) I ordered Lamb Korma (creamy cashew sauce.) We shared and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The lamb in each was tender. It was nice to share as one was rich and the other less rich with more heat. Both were balanced perfectly with spices. Each lunch plate came out Bento style with a goodie in each section - basmati rice (of course,) Aloo Tikki, a scrumptious vegetable of the day (which was potato with what I believe was tindora a.k.a. Ivy Gourd) and naan. Everything was so delicious that at the time I didn't even think to ask for the various chutneys. My friend and I agreed - we liked this restaurant very much and would definitely come back. Another positive is that it's priced very fairly. We wished we asked the waiter for his name so we could list it here and thank him for his service.“

“This was one of the most delicious Indian foods I've tried for a long time. The Chicken Saag was made with fresh spinach, and it was so tasty. The Chicken Tikka was served with sauce on the side, the chicken was very well marinated and also one of our favorite dishes. We will definitely be back.“

“I attended Chef Prasad's chef collaboration with Tyler Anderson last night and it was nothing short of spectacular. Admittedly not all that familiar with Indian food, it all tasted delicious and it was much more than that. Place is super cozy, drinks are great and 5 star experience all the way around!!! He does these chef collaborations once a month, but visit for a regular meal or takeout as it is well worth it. -Nick D“
