“My wife and I had breakfast here one Saturday. We were drawn by the availability of paleo options on the menu. We got the paleo waffles with the Blueberry compote, a chicken sausage, and two eggs. Everything was delicious and the staff was very friendly. My wife also got a vanilla lavender hot chocolate that she really enjoyed. We plan to go back the next time we are in the Old Saybrook area.“

“I was dropping my friend off and waiting to pick them up while they got their wisdom teeth removed when I stumbled across this place. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the woman who put my food in for me was kind. My food was ready in around ten minutes and was a very large portion; it was very good. I really enjoyed my experience.“

“Awesome customer service! I had 4 employees ask if I needed anything. One even brought me a huge selection of hot sauces, unprompted. Regular coffee refills (note that despite their name, it’s not a place that has lattes etc.). The pineapple and cantaloupe in the fruit salad are actually ripe, which never happens. Lovely experience overall. Would definitely return.“
“A fortunate find with wonderful staff and great foodie stuff.“

“33 Years in the same place, same staff, they must be doing something right, Great prices on excellent food. I've read the reviews from people that have given it 1 star. These must be people that can only accept 5 star service, and everything else is 1 star. I understand some of the things you complained about, and maybe you did have a valid point, but 1 star, and to imply that the waitress was suffering from dementia, come on, grow up. If you made reasonable criticisms, and rated fairly, people would take you seriously, but you just make yourselves look mean and vindictive. All over an undercooked omelette, etc.“
