“We went for an early dinner Saturday afternoon our anniversary. Our server was Lance and he was fantastic. We really enjoyed our meals including the rum cake for dessert we go again in a heartbeat.”

“The wait was not long which was good considering it was busy. The courses came at the right times. The food was delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful. It did feel like a family restaurant should.Parking: Parking can be difficult during the busy times. I went on a Saturday night and it was busy. There is parking around the building and in back. It is part of a small strip mall.”

“Might be one of my favorite South Indian spots in all of CT. Every dish was fantastic the poondu podi dosa was crispy, spicy and the sambar was delightful. The chicken 65 was crispy on the outside but so tender on the inside, the parotta was flaky and so shockingly fresh and the chicken curry that went with it was so wonderful. We also got the vegetable pakodas, so crispy and tasty. Over 6/5, loved everything about this place.”

“I stopped in for the first time the other day and I just wanted a simple breakfast sandwich. . The owners/staff was super friendly and the food was great! I can't wait to go back and try other things since they have a huge menu!!! They have a few picnic tables in back but it was cold out so I took my sandwich to work. Love it here!. “My neighbor mentioned to me that he and his wife were going to lunch at Pete’s and said he was bringing his in laws. He and his in laws raved about the food. My neighbor said the roast beef (made in house) grinder was amazingly great. That’s my favorite, so I stopped by Pete’s a couple days ago and got the roast beef grinder with provalone cheese, mayo, roasted and banana peppers, shedded lettuce and tomato. It was sooo good that I had to go back in to let them know. Come to find out Pete’s dad made me the grinder. What a nice man!!! Talked to him for a few minutes. I found a place near home that I will be visiting again and again!!! Next time I’m trying a pizza. So many great reviews……I read them all!!!”

“I'm in the area on business and eat out daily. I rarely leave reviews, but this place was worth the time and praise. This place is amazing!!! The bread is fresh and made in house daily with tasty garlic and oil dipping sauces. I had the lobster ravioli which was full of flavor. The sauce is made fresh in house with scallops included. All salad dressings are also made in house. I had the balsamic vinaigrette which was perfect.Overall, if you are local and have never been here... Support a great local restaurant and have your taste buds tantalized. If you are here from out of town and are looking for a great meal, you will not be disappointed!”

“I ordered a pull apart bridal cupcake dress and cookies for my daughter’s bridal shower. The cupcakes were made in 4 different flavors that were moist, a good size, and delicious! Some cupcakes were decorated as blue flowers to surround the dress. It was a beautiful presentation. The cookies shaped and decorated as a bridal dress, an engagement ring and a Miss to Mrs plaque were the best! I recommend this bakery for any of your sweet desires. The staff was very easy to work with.”

“I have been on the lookout for a great Thai restaurant in CT after having been lucky enough to enjoy some very good restaurants on Long Island and while traveling for work across the country without much success, until today.The lunch I enjoyed at Kob Jai Pho and Thai Restaurant was absolutely delicious. Although I only had a few of their offerings (Veg Tom Yum Soup, Spring Roll, & Prik King), the flavors were incredible and food divine.From the subtle spicy and sweet soup, to the delicate crunch of the roll and sweetness of the sauce, and the perfectly spice laden Prik King with bell peppers, string beans, and white rice draped over the delicious sauce, I thoroughly enjoyed everything down to the last drop.Highly recommended!!”

“One of my favorite places to go in the summer is Rita's Italian Ice and Frozen Custard. This place sells soft serve custard, Italian ice, and specialty creations. Be sure to sample a few flavors because some of their flavors may shock you. I have never seen such a large variety of Ice flavors. They serve everything: cotton candy, strawberry colada and unicorn just to name a few of the more surprising flavors! They also have fast service and allow you to try different flavors. My favorite item to order is the gelati: layers of Italian ice and custard. My favorite to mix are mango Italian ice and vanilla custard. However, you're also able to order a cup of just Italian ice or a cup of just custard. You may want to ask for extra containers so that it's easy to take your dessert home or to a cute location to enjoy!”

“Whenever I am in the Rocky Hill/Wethersfield area, I must stop at Bake Market to bring something home. Everything I have tried from sauces, dinners, soups, etc to their wonderful desserts has been delicious. I stopped to get more sauce and pasta and enjoyed a fantastic gluten free peanut butter cookie and a great cup of coffee to go! I am so glad they offer gf options! I look forward to going each visit!I have been coming to this location for a long while so when Bake Market opened here I was thrilled. They definitely deserve 5-star!”

“Takeout Review:I ordered the Cowboy Burger $11.50 with fries and it was delicious. I like my burgers medium rare and they hit that note. The burger has aged cheddar, bacon, lettuce, and tomato, topped with onion rings, and drizzled in BBQ sauce. The fries were crispy just the way I like it; they were not soggy like most takeout fries. We also had the bacon and cheese pizza, I thought that was just OK.Next time, I'll have to try their other pizzas and various menu items. Online ordering was easy and the food was hot and ready at the designated pickup time. Overall, a good meal and will order from them again and dine in soon.”

“Still Hill Brewery is located amongst some industrial offices. It looks unassuming from the outside, just like the rest of the business in the area. But inside you'll be greeted with the most pleasant bartender and a nice variety of beers. Still Hill is a smaller brewery. It's got a variety of seating available inside as well as a few outside.When I went there was a band playing some 60s music. They were very good! Some people were dancing. I had the Fruitatious Sourpuss Blood Orange Pomegranate. This was refreshing and tart, a good sour. My friend had the HoneyCrisp cider, this one is very light and crisp, I didn't try this one, but the name and very light nature of this one, seem like that's the perfect name for it.They have a variety of games to play, we played Uno cards while the band played and we drank our beers.They don't offer any food at Still Hill, but you are welcome to bring your own.”

“We have been meeting friends for breakfast here since we first moved to the area from Windsor and was it managed by the previous owner Darlene. We were concerned to see how it would be after changing owners and have to say.....Dimitria has done a fantastic job as the new owner! It is a difficult time for restaurants and retail with staff shortages, etc. However we have nothing but positive reviews for NYPD! The breakfast menu is great with so many choices. My personal faves are Pumpkin Crancakes, Apple Cider Pancakes, Coconut French Toast and the Everything Bagel Omelette. Friends of ours drive from Burlington, Bolton, West Harford and Wethersfield to have breakfast with us here and all love their breakfasts and the service, We highly recommend NYPD for breakfast and lunch! Give it a try and I don't think you'll be disappointed.Lauren”

“We been going to this place for many years to celebrate Birthdays. Last Friday I lost my dimond earing and I was not even sure where. “I just want to share my experience… I’m a store manager at a store in Rockyhill…… I had a horrible car accident last year which left my leg mangled and I’m now, after four surgeries within a year, now need a total knee replacement , yes I am back at work but being on my feet for 8 plus hours is painful and I swell really bad ….. so today after a nine plus hour shift I was swollen, in pain and just over my day….. I pulled up to the curb to your store so I didn’t have to stand to cook dinner and your employees as soon as I walked in noticed what I was going through. They told me to sit (which I brushed of and did not ) but just the fact they noticed I was going through something made me think…… they appreciated me being there and I wasn’t a burden to another order they had to do…… both of the associates we amazing compassionate and quite frankly down right amazing !!!!! If you need any more info you can reach me at Goodwill at 80 town line rd in Rockyhill . Your associates, blew me, a store manager out of the water with how friendly and welcoming they were. I appreciated that when I needed it the most. Thank you ”

“Super employees here and quick service. Bathroom was well equipped and had all ADA grab bars I needed.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps into restaurant. Drive through is available. Bathroom is ADA compliant and had grab bars on both sides of toilet.”

“Great food, old school recipes and lots of attention to detail. Dined here for the 3rd time and it was fantastic. The bread rolls are made to order and the food was spectacular. Prices were very reasonable as our meals included salad and a side of pasta. What a gem, glad I tried this little hole in the wall. Well worth my time. The only item that was not that great was the arancini appetizer, other than that... all entrees and apps for the 3 times my family and I came here were absolutely wonderful.”

We saw the small sandwich shop and went in, the staff accommodated us despite they were getting ready to close. The roast beef and havarti cheese sandwich with horseradish sauce was delicious ?... We also were delighted to see diet root beer ?. Clean, pleasant staff and great food. We couldn't have asked for more. “We live locally and on weekends this is our go to for takeout. Also they deliver which is wonderful not having to go through an app. The owner is very accommodating and when I say they have the best burger around it's outstanding. I work in a pizza restaurant so that isn't my go to on my time off so I order the burger. Since I've ordered one for my husband and turned friends on to it. Big seasoned juicy burger with topping and a huge order of delicious fries. There Caprese. Salad is also delicious. Anyone who hasn't tried this place should!!!”

The jerk chicken and beef patty had so much flavor! This all came out to $20. The employee was good. The place smelled amazing. Really good food. “This place was a really pleasant surprise. Service is quick and attentive. The food is fire and the vibes are on point. Friday after work the place is full of everyone enjoying a meal and a drink. We ordered the hangover burger and the fire man. We forgot to specify how to cook the meat, and it came out a perfect medium rare. Delicious burgers that melt in your mouth, and some solid sides to go along with it. Forgot to take a photo, bhr let's just say I cleaned my plate. As other reviews say, the parking SI very unique to say the least. It doesn't appear to have a lot of space, but as you circle around you'll find plenty of parking. Might be hard to come by because the block is busy, but you'll be fine. Bathroom urinal is an interesting set up but gets the job done. Food came out super quick too. I'd recommend this spot, especially for happy hour which has some good deals.Parking: Lots of space all around the whole building. Shared with other stores for the mini Plaza.Kid-friendliness: There seemed to be some families with a range of kids with them.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp, no stairs.”

That was very good. The pizza was on the thinner side with good tasting sauce and lots of cheese.This was very good for your local pizza place and the prices were very reasonable. “We get our cakes from Patty Cakes for all occasions and for the past 20 years! Time flies. They make delicious cakes and have a wide variety. This bakery is long standing in the community and it's easy to see why. They make the best treats! I've had their bagels too- reminds me of NY! And once or twice I got a cheese danish - oh to die for! The family is nice and their employees too! They are dependable if you ever need to order cakes!”
