“Great place. I’ll have to make it a point to work it into the calendar more. Beer was excellent. 24 different beers on tap I believe. Burger was great - big and delicious and my wife enjoyed her wrap. Bonus points for the King Diamond and Rob Halford photos on the wall. I didn’t get to check out all the prints. Cool spot. We’ll be back.“

“We just did take out and it was great! My husband had the salmon, I had the short ribs and we got an order of the hush puppies. Everything was hot and tasted great at home. We also had an order of the cheesecake egg rolls which were a great sweet treat. Definitely will be back!“

“Easily accessible and in walking distance of the New Haven green. Got brussels sprouts and a large pizza. The brussels sprouts were cut and fried in a unique way I had never seen before but it was quite delicious. The pizza was also quite good although a little too much garlic for my tastes (and i love garlic)“

“Had to stop here on my self proclaimed "burger tour" when I drove across the country at the recommendation of George Motz. Fantastic burger cooked in a unique way which yields a very moist and juicy burger. There is so much ooiegooie cheese and the bun is soft but not soggy. I'm from California and we don't do burgers this way, but I have to tip my cap to Ted. Fantastic place. I'm sure locals know it but if you're passing by, do yourself a favor and try this local gem.“

“Nice place for a morning. Great food, good service, good atmosphere. I ordered a hot chocolate (not a coffee guy), a Belgium waffle, and a side of bacon. All of that food was amazing and I highly recommend this place if you're bored and hungry in the morning! Good cafe!“

“Food score would have been higher except that mashed potato doesn't belong on the same plate as veal picata ( an old Italian's opinion) and the medallions of veal could have been pounded thinner ( more Italian style). But the veals taste was very good and without viens. It was Mothers day so perhaps this made a difference.“

“Last night, our dinner reservations fell through, and it felt like the universe was directing us to enjoy homemade pasta at NOTO! We had an amazing experience and can’t wait to go back. The appetizers were good, but the star of the show was the homemade pasta. I don’t feel like there are many places to get that around here, and I was so happy! I got the Cacio Pepe, and my husband got the cordon bleu. Both were delicious! Our friends ordered the eggplant and chicken parm, which were also amazing! The eggplant wasn’t watery, and the chicken was so good! Another friend ordered a pizza, and I got to snag a slice—it was great! We all left saying, “We are definitely coming back.” Good job to the chefs! Also, I know this is random, but I usually get lemonade at restaurants, and even that was like the perfect lemonade!“

“If you don't like small places that can get loud, it may not be for you.That said, a little place with some really good food (those pulled pork street tacos were amazing), and a bartender in competition for best in town. Prices are very reasonable.They are almost apologetic on their website about their small kitchen, but I didn't have to wait much to get my food.Solid recommend.“

“We come here almost once a week with our two elementary schoolers. The staff is always kind, solicitous, and patient, even when one of our kids wants a number of "customizations" to her mac and cheese order. We always look to find a table near the one tv that isn't playing sports but rather is playing funny videos to keep our kids engaged so that the adults can catch up on our days. The cocktails are good and filled to the rim. And, we always appreciate the rotating specials menu so there is something new to try each time for the adults. Can't ask for much more in a go-to neighborhood restaurant.“

“Stopped here for a late lunch today. Our server was awesome, attentive and friendly without feeling like they were at our table every two seconds. The wait for food and drinks was very reasonable and the food came out hot. I tried “The Craft” pizza and shared a slice of their seasonal cheesecake (lemon ricotta with a blueberry sauce). I definitely recommend it. Prices felt fair for the quality of food and the service.“

“I have nothing but rave reviews for the 1741 Pub & Grill. I had never visited before and was very impressed with the presentation of the dining room. The wait staff were congenial, pleasant and wonderful and accommodating. The menu was outstanding and the best Valentine's Day experience I have ever had. I was so pleased with the food, the experience and the venue. I will wholeheartedly come back if you should do this again next year. Thank you for a great experience!!“

“My first time here was a month ago having dinner in the steakhouse! If I could give 10 stars for the food, servers and atmosphere I would have. Last night we returned to dine in the tavern, food was absolutely delicious, Mariah our server greeted us with a friendly warm smile that she never lost each time she came to our table. We will be back very soon to sit on the balcony this time ! CANT WAIT!!!!!!!!!“
