The workers were enthusiastic, friendly, and efficient. The worker taking orders asked each pwrson about food allergies before beginning the prep. My food (spicy rice noodle bowl with chicken) was fantastic and a reasonably good value. It is a very sizable portion- a meal and a half. If I was a DC local, this would be a regular apot for me.Vegetarian options: Non-vegetarian items are available as add-ons. Most meal options can be had as vegetarian-friendly.
I recently went here for an early weekday lunch and was pleasantly surprised by my meal. Although the bowl was expensive (over $15) and the chicken initially did not look tasty, I enjoyed the bowl. There was a good balance between the amount of chicken, vegetables, and noodles, and the spicy peanut sauce tied everything together (and was also very spicy). Given the lack of good food options in Foggy Bottom, I would recommend if you are in the area and need a meal.

I don't usually write restaurant reviews. But Bandoola deserves the praise. My favorite is the Spicy Pork Noodle Bowl. It is a handsome amount of perfectly seasoned pork. The sauces, spices and herbs are a harmonious blend of southeast flavors. The food is reason alone to return to this little stall, but the customer service is amazing!
