“Great staff - delicious breakfast!“

“My boyfriend and I missed hotel breakfast this morning (I mean a 17 hour drive will knock ya out for a while ya know). But dang am I glad we did! Quick Google search came up with the regular old things that everywhere has. We came across Murray & Paul's and automatically it was a "yep we gotta try it!" Parking was an adventure (being from a smaller non city this was anticipated) parked on a residential road and walked two blocks to the restaurant. Walk in to a very busy quaint little place. Dwight had asked if we were eating in or taking on the go. Took our order and was pure comedic relief while we waited for a table. As I continued to take in the atmosphere loads more of people came in and out to go about their busy lives and here's Dwight acknowledging humans by name, making wonderful small talk, cracking jokes making it an even better atmosphere. Service was elite! And food!? HUGE portion size of everything, along with delicious tasting paired with delicious coffee! We have decided this will be the breakfast spot of choice for the duration of our trip. Thanks Dwight for making it an even greater atmosphere, and to the staff for the excellent food and service!“

“We had the Avocado Smash Toast and PB Crunch Toast. Eating off a board was different but an easy adjustment. The ingredients were very fresh! To wash it all down, we had coffee and a smoothie. The Gingerberry Smoothie was amazing! So freshing!“

One part of our came out with the wrong order and when they corrected it, they gave us delicious empanadas and a hibiscus drink on the house! Such a nice surprise. Other restaurants can learn from them. Check them out when in Georgetown.??“

“Roy's is a neighborhood staple and Steve, the owner is great. The steak and cheese comes with a lot of toppings I wouldn't expect, but trust me, it works. If it wasn't for the very necessary bullet proof glass, I'd bump this place up to a 5-star rating.“

“Wow. What a treat! Reasonably priced carry-out breakfast and lunch kitchen near the Navy Yard. No indoor or outdoor seating. Portions were large. Food was delicious. We tried pancakes, French toast, waffles and bacon breakfast sandwiches over several days and were never disappointed. I heard from other patrons that the fish sub was also great, but didn't get a chance to try it. Closed on Sunday. We tried some other places nearby, and none of them compared. Thanks ladies!!“

“We had a delightful breakfast at the Grand Hyatt Washington Hotel! I especially loved the way they prepared the bacon and eggs. Opted for the buffet and sampled a bit of everything – all the dishes were hot and perfectly cooked without drying out. The seating was really comfortable too. A wonderful start to the day!“

“This place is a local staple for many city workers as it is in close proximity to large government facilities. They do have limited hours so plan to visit early. The food is pretty decent and prices are very fair. The owners are quite hospitable and provide an overall great experience.“
