Brunch Restaurants near Washington, DC

“My boyfriend and I missed hotel breakfast this morning (I mean a 17 hour drive will knock ya out for a while ya know). But dang am I glad we did! Quick Google search came up with the regular old things that everywhere has. We came across Murray & Paul's and automatically it was a "yep we gotta try it!" Parking was an adventure (being from a smaller non city this was anticipated) parked on a residential road and walked two blocks to the restaurant. Walk in to a very busy quaint little place. Dwight had asked if we were eating in or taking on the go. Took our order and was pure comedic relief while we waited for a table. As I continued to take in the atmosphere loads more of people came in and out to go about their busy lives and here's Dwight acknowledging humans by name, making wonderful small talk, cracking jokes making it an even better atmosphere. Service was elite! And food!? HUGE portion size of everything, along with delicious tasting paired with delicious coffee! We have decided this will be the breakfast spot of choice for the duration of our trip. Thanks Dwight for making it an even greater atmosphere, and to the staff for the excellent food and service!“

I used this company for a catering event, and the general manager was excellent and helped me with everything and explained the catering pages when I had questions about quantity. I highly recommend this black company if you want to do a brunch and need catering. This is the place! “

“I ordered Bread & Chocolate from out of state to be delivered to my sister as a surprise on her birthday. I messaged after hours inquiring if a little note could be written along with her surprise breakfast, not only did they respond immediately, but they had a sweet heart felt card. Thank you guys so much for going above and beyond. You really made her birthday special and SO YUMMY she said. I’ll have to stop in next visit! Thank you thank you!!“

“This is a small takeout shop, but it's a very special place. The owner is friendly, and the chef prepares everything fresh upon order with speedy service. They even tell you the best way to enjoy your meal, making it a delightful experience. I highly recommend the bulgogi.After picking up my food, I passed through a security checkpoint, and the security staff commented on how amazing the smell was and asked detailed questions about the restaurant, saying they wanted to go there, too. The food smelled and tasted so good that I didn't get a chance to take pictures. I'll update you with photos on my next visit.“

“You don’t go here for the atmosphere. There is little to no dining area. This is more of a takeout restaurant. Every time I visit the service is wonderful, they make sure you are satisfied with your food & the food portions are worth the price. This place is pretty inexpensive with great food options. I don't live in the area but normally when I visit I get the grilled chicken sub that has a spicy kick to it or the steak omelette with a side of home fry & it exceeds my expectations every time. Highly recommend!Parking: There is a parking lot adjacent to the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: The establishment is wheelchair accessible.“
