“Had the opportunity to experience this dining venue for a Sunday brunch, recommended by family member. The brunch menu at first was a little confusing as to what our quantity of options we were entitled to, once that was clarified enjoyed a delightful meal of fried chicken & waffles -brussel sprouts-deviled eggs -berry mixed topping pancakes -crab cakes and a mimosa. The only thing that wasn’t too pleasant was the waiter assigned to us -he didn’t seem very customer friendly-I don’t even think he introduced himself. However his slack was taken up by a wonderful young lady by the name of Allie -very friendly -took the time to explain the menu -when an ordering mistake had been made -corrected it and provided a alternative, she made the experience so much better -excellent customer service“

“Yes! I love the concept. I love how it’s a hand made patty and the burger was cooked perfectly. In addition, you have an option to add items to your burger if you do the build your burger option. You can also choose their preselected choices which look really good. I chose to add sautéed onions, bacon, and Italian sausage. I will say although the Italian sausage was good, I wouldn’t add it again; it didn’t hurt the burger overall. You choose your seasoning (I chose basic), sauce (house bbq), lettuce and tomato. I also ordered the seasoned fries (garlic parmesan). I was curious so I asked for the spicy ranch. It was pretty good.“

“The food is always good. I’ve been on a lamb burger kick lately. There are good options for brunch or dinner. There’s also events some evenings. I attended an open mic night for poetry a while back and it was great! So much talent in the space and encouraging of emerging and established artist alikeWheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is fairly accessible. There are double front doors and no button to open them so it may be difficult for electric chairs and larger chairs. The back event space can be cramped but I was able to be seated comfortably. Though I could see if being tricky trying to leave for a bathroom break once folks pack in. There are stairs to access the stage so that would be a big barrier for open mic nights“

“I got their exactly 950pm and the bartender and waitress were very friendly and nice , the kitchen was just about or closing but rather than say sorry it’s too late they checked with the kitchen and they made us the 3 best burgers and fries , it was all delicious . We got double burgers and fries and honestly the price to me like any other good burgers but these were better was reasonable, the quality was good . We’ll be back for sure , compliments to the chef .“

“Been to bubbies many times and it’s always so worth the trip! Really appreciate how often they send coupons, gives us the push to order and enjoy their food. We’ve also ordered it for delivery and never had any issues, it’s obviously no longer hot because of the distance but our order has always been correct! Highly recommend.“

“Great American food and a decent price considering how pricey some nearby restaurants are. I enjoyed the Colette's Smokehouse burger with fries and a soda for about $20 total. The food was very tasty and the staff were friendly. As for the atmosphere, I don't really like the rustic look. Also, the dining room is upstairs with no handicap access.Wheelchair accessibility: No wheelchair access to the dining room. ?“

“The much-anticipated sister restaurant of Purple Patch opened just a few weeks ago and I'm already hooked! It's a lovely addition to the neighborhood, offering a simple menu with a lot of flavor. The wagyu burger is nicely balanced, and depending on your appetite you can get a single to a triple patty. The ube soft serve with coconut is such a hit and the flavors are perfect. It's been really busy for good reason, so you might have to wait in line especially on really nice days, but service is pretty fast and they also have an order online link. Enjoy the outdoor seating on a nice day! Indoor area is small but very pretty, and stools with counter-style tables lining the interior. Very kid friendly as well as they have a kids' menu,' tables, and neighborhood kids' art on the walls. You can also purchase a few Filipino snacks like v-cut chips and boy bawang (garlic corn nuts), and they also have some canned non alcoholic and alcoholic beverages available. With the addition of Joia Burger, the owner Patrice really shows how much she cares about the Mount Pleasant community and is invested in it. It's a great spot to swing by for a quick meal and friendly faces!“

“Food was amazing I order the Hot tiger bun (per the menu description: HOT AF fried chicken sandwich); for me it wasn’t very spicy (but I have a high tolerance), so I order hot sauce on the side.It was delicious, also ordered the curry fries. The service was a bit slow and our server didn’t come to check on us much. But good, drinks, and view were amazing.“

“Came here with my wife last month on a quiet Thursday and it was very busy despite no Nationals or United game. There is a great variety of indoor and outdoor seating, very little which was still available but we got two seats at the outside bar stools facing the ins. The beer is all amazing and we got several half pints. We got a Watermelon Salad and the Expos Poutine Tots the latter which is a great tribute to the former name and location of the Nationals. The food was delicious and the portions were quite large considering the affordable prices we paid. The beer took a while to come out and we kept getting the bartenders attention and we understood they were busy. There was a glitch where they could only find the food and not drinks for our order but the manager made it up and gave us another free half pint. We look forward to returning to trying more of their food and great beer!“

“On the Wharf strip bouncing from spot to spot, and we “luckily” we stumbled into Lucky Buns. Cool seashore themed decor, friendly staff, and upbeat music. Plus, the drinks strong and tasty. Definitely worth paying a visit even if it’s just to grab a drink, or two, or three ?“
“Wife & kids came here for a concert & loved every bit of the experience! From the food to the bands & the bartenders . I had to work and could not attend ? so I guess I missed out on a great night.Kid-friendliness: My kids loved this venue. Can't wait to come back again. There are lots of artifacts to keep the eyes busy.“

“I don't normally leave reviews of places but my partner and I popped in here tonight before we went to the movies to grab a bite and have some drinks. After we left the movie we both agreed that just hanging out at the bar with Scott and Chris was more entertaining than the movie we watched. We had some wings and a couple of drinks each. Scott gave me a go to drink of mine in a way I had never experienced before and it blew me away. I can't wait to come back and bring my friends. The vibes were so good and I look forward to hanging out here more often and trying more of the food. 10/10“

“I needed a good burger and Shake Shack never disapoints. I added bacon and I appreciate that there was no stinginess about adding it to my triple stack and to my fries. The staff always look as if they are having a good time so I love coming back.“

“Great place to grab burgers, cheap booze, and see some awesome bands. Saw a trip of post punk / synth wave / goth acts and it was a really fun and intimate (meaning small and crowded!) atmosphere to catch a show. The food nor the drinks are particularly memorable, but it's really about the overall experience.“
“Looking for an Asian restaurant close by our hotel (The Westin Washington DC) and we were pleasantly surprised to find a Filipino restaurant only 3 mins walking distance. We had shrimp palabok, lumpia Shanghai, and lechon kawali. Everything was delicious and at a good price! Mom says we don’t have to find Jollibee in the area, Pogiboy is so much better!“
“My sister finally took me here! I've heard so much about this grocery store. I love to cook, so it's always fun exploring different grocery stores that we don't have in California. I don't think anything will measure up to HEB in Texas, but it's good to check out nevertheless. :)This place is clean, new and definitely tailors to people who don't have a lot of time to cook. Lots of prepared food, and just from what I've tasted like their crab cakes (very reasonably priced at $7 for a huge one), and small tray of lobster Mac and cheese for $28, their food is better than Whole Foods. They had different size trays of charcuterie boards as well. It was right before NYE, so lots of choices for entertaining. I would have loved to grab a sandwich and walk up to the International Baccalaureate grounds and sit by the enormous Christmas tree up on street level. It was such a nice day when we went.Prices are pretty good, but I wasn't able to find a few things that I needed. Had to go to Safeway for that. 18 count eggs were less than $3!!! Omg I'd shop here all the time. Parking is easy and they do validate. My sister lives about 15 minutes from here and my favorite DC bakery is a block away, so I will have my sister take me back here next time I visit DC.“
