“After we were sat, it took 25 minutes for our server to greet us, not ideal, but we understand it's busy on a Friday night. I got the fruit tea, which comes in a hot glass kettle, with oranges in it. It was delicious, and light. 9/10 The soup was spicy, but not over bearing. There was protein in it, I'd assume chicken, along with other vegetables that made the bowl a well rounded experience. 10/10 The general tso chicken comes with a bowl of white rice, and the chicken is crispy. They sauced it heavily, which I love. 8.5/0 I forgot the name but we got something akin to drunken noodles or pad Thai I think, that was basic but got the job done. Hearty but not an out of this world flavor. 6.5/10 Didn't try the eggrolls or chicken dumplings or shrimp lo mein, but my friends enjoyed them. The soup dumplings were great- no notes 10/10 Parking is good (for DC), and while you are sat in close proximity to other tables, the ambiance is still chill, not too loud. Paid $30/person for a 4 person party which is nice“

“Wow!! Absolutely delicious food! I don’t usually have high expectations with unlimited dimsum, so we were pleasantly surprised! The food quality was very good, and so tasty. Not watered down American dimsum, tasted like authentic Hong Kong style cooking! I highly recommend the panfried seafood noodles, roast pork buns, roast bbq pork, snow peas, and duck ? Our server Chen was super attentive, timing all our dishes right when we were ready for the next round, very amiable, and gave overall great customer service! The place is on the small side, but is very tastefully decorated. Can’t wait to go back!Kid-friendliness: They have reduced prices for kids.“

“Solid Cantonese food. They offer plenty of the usual Chinese-American dishes, but I highly recommend you order one of the casserole dishes or something from the "Chef's Suggestions" part of the menu if you're feeling adventurous. The Three Treasure Stuffed Bean Curd in Black Bean Sauce is delicious.“

“How have I forgotten to write a review for Sichuan Pavilion??? It is my absolute go-to in DC for mapo tofu. I don't get Chinese takeout often, but of the handful of places I've tried, this one tops them all. My partner is a fan of their Eggplant with garlic sauce and their vegetable lo mein. I'm not going to describe any of these in further detail because they're all so universal, if you've had a good version, you know, and they're all good versions here. Extremely generous portions, including of the complimentary white rice, and the service is quick and very courteous. Being near Farragut Square makes it super convenient to get to, too.“

“Both of my experiences we're exceptional. The service was great, and when I asked for a uncut rotisserie chicken for my salad, he gave me just that. The food is delicious and King Pollo have me as a promoter and a customer. Money well spent! A $10 meal at McDonald's is NOT the same. Go see for yourself!“

“We love dining in Gourmet Inspirations for their dim sum. We’re happy that they still offer their dim sum for carry out. Easiest way is to order from their webpage. Pick up was a breeze! They had one entrance and one exit with marks on the floor to practice social distancing. I hope they remain open during this pandemic. ❤️“

“Fantastic food and reliable service. Definitely one of my favorite dim sum places, better than even some of the ones in Chinatown in NYC. Hidden gem here in Wheaton! I recommend the Chicken ginger dumpling. FYI - No soup dumplings here but you won't find yourself missing them with all the options here. Another tip - ask for the sauce pack for the table (not sure what you call it but it has the mustard, soy sauce, sweet and sour sauce, salt, pepper, and I think maybe some chili oil too). Thanks so much for the great food“

“We tried a variety so much so they questioned us on our order. Duck was good, we got a whole duck which was de-boned brought out with items to make duck tacos. Then spring rolls were filled with soooo much meat it was insane. Not a fan of the short ribs, all fat no meat. General tso chicken was not good to our liking, some of the meat did not have quality chicken. Beef and broccoli was good. Shrimp and lobster was good. Son ordered duck General tso and was not happy with it. The whole restaurant was packed early Friday dinner so plan to get in early or wait. The trick with this place is not to compare to Chinese, this is Cantonese which is different tasting but offer similar items.“
