I almost didn’t leave a review because I wanted to be one of the cool kids who knew the best secret pizza place in town. But this spot is a national treasure for Detroit style pizza enthusiasts and deserves to be recognized. The bread is light and fluffy. The cheese is exquisite and delicately crusted. The pepperoni dances boldly across the surface beneath a decedent blanket of ricotta. I wish everyone in Washington approached their craft with the same poetry and sense of purpose as these pizza chefs. You are doing god’s work. 5 stars. There are practically no muggings while you wait for it outside.
I ordered a veggie lovers pizza. The pizza took two hours to come and had sausage on it. They didn’t offer another pizza or anything to make it up. They basically were like oh well. Customer Service sucks!!!!
