“This is a pretty good place to eat! The food was delicious. Service at the bar was great! We ordered around 6 tacos and the enchiladas and it was super tasty! I will say it is on the pricier end, and portions are small compared to a typical Mexican restaurant, but it was perfect for us. 10/10 would come here again.“

“2024 Update: Food is still slamming, vibe is still A+ & wait staff is still personable. Definitely ensure you make a reservation first since it gets packed quicklyIf you’re STILLLLLL not convinced after 12K plus reviews, I dunno what to tell ya buddy! In short, RUN here! But first make a reservation cause it gets booked up in a snap. The food is so well flavored, the energy is bustling, parking is a hit or miss & overall the decor is warm & inviting. We are here twice during our weekend trip. And had the chicken & waffles, the amazing corn bread, the pork ribs with a side of pecan honey sweet potato & Mac & cheese, unlimited lemonade & a coconut bourbon concoction…or was it whiskey…hmmm either way DELISH! Returned for breakfast the following day…shameless I know! Had the blueberry pancakes with cinnamon infused syrup & the avocado toast with egg whites. Mannn I could seriously eat here every dang day….“

“Show up with a large group and Dacha turned out to be the perfect fit. We were well taken care of by the staff and servers. Great attention to our multi generational crowd. Service was excellent and food came surprisingly quickly. And food was tasty and creative. Beer selection was great and unique. I will definitely return.“

“This cozy restaurant has left the best impression! Hospitable hosts and staff, delicious dishes (the salmon, cod and short ribs are to die for! and definitely get the Brussel sprouts and beet salad as a starter and order all the desserts and share with friends because they’re all so good you’re going to want to try them all- the crème brûlée is so so so good!), the beer list is extensive and alway changing. I’ll definitely be back again and again because there seems to always be something new to try. I am so happy it’s reopened. Definitely go upstairs to Churchkey for after dinner drinks. It won’t disappoint“

“One of my absolute favorite Thai restaurants in DC. The food always tastes so fresh and has a great balance of flavors that any good Thai dish should have. The green curry, and drunken noodles have a good amount of spice. Other favorite dishes include the Tom Yum soup, the kanom jeeb, and the mango sticky rice.Great for both dining in and takeout.“

“The chocolate peanut butter cookie is the best cookie I've ever had. I could eat it every day that I'm in the area- and I do. (The other cookies are great but this one is divine.)Wheelchair accessibility: There were no steps to get inside.“

“Nice place if you want cupcakes that aren't overly sweet. I have heard a lot of good things about this place. I'm not quite sure if it's overhyped or just right. It's a nice place if you're in the area but I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to come back for more. The cupcakes are good but not that special.“

“The food was good but the cashier had a very bad attitude. Didn't give our drinks when we ordered and when the drinks didn't come out with our food, we went back to the cashier for them. His acted like he couldn't be bothered and was really off putting.“

“Amazing croissants. So flakey and full of wonderful filling. A great value! The mango pannacotta was amazing! The value for the price was fantastic as well! I briefly met the owner. The sweetest person you will ever meet! If I lived in town, I would be here ALL THE TIME!“

“We had an amazing dinner with great atmosphere watching flamenco dance, the food was mind blowing, as well as the service and drinks. I got lamb chopsticks and a dessert, all was high quality, we spent around 2-3 hours there and absolutely loved the experience, thank you!“

“I recommend the food, food, and food. We ordered few different types and were thoroughly impressed. The host needs to get on the ball, though. Gueats were waiting for a long time and had not been acknowledged and that includes me.“

“I recommend GCDC… for the Mac & Cheese! It’s creamy and delicious. The toastiness of the sourdough options are spot on - not too toasty. Food comes out quick and hot!“

“Chocolate pistachio croissant - 5 stars. so good and will be returning for this. Any place that has pistachio pastries is a place for me. Morning bun - very flavorful (cardamom & lemon) but a bit too dry for me. 3 stars Espresso & tonic - I did not like this at all, and will definitely get a safer drink option next time. There was a line at 130pm which I was surprised about, but it moved very quickly and we had no trouble finding a seat. Cute place, will be returning!“

“Nice setting, thought the food was ok. Oysters were decent though I did have a really sharp piece of shell that thank goodness I didn’t swallow. Not the best if you have a dairy intolerance. Ended up having the burger with no bun and no cheese, was originally told I couldn’t have the burger and had to choose something else. Wasn’t offered a lot of help on the intolerance front.“

“We had the Avocado Smash Toast and PB Crunch Toast. Eating off a board was different but an easy adjustment. The ingredients were very fresh! To wash it all down, we had coffee and a smoothie. The Gingerberry Smoothie was amazing! So freshing!“

“All vegetarian and/or vegan tacos and gluten-free for my wife... I can say that I was skeptical about this place for sure. However, the tacos won me over. The three taco deal is almost too much good food and between my wife and I, we tried all the tacos on the menu. Everyone probably raves about the creamy kale and potato taco, and it was certainly good, but the Moroccan carrot taco was the closest winner for us. I would rank the next three after the carrot as the kale-potato, the garlic greens (lots of collards in this one and very good!), then the mushroom one. Got a coffee, too, and it was pretty good as they brew Vigilante there. Definitely didn't hurt that it was beautiful fall day today, so we ate outside by the river rather than staying in the very small restaurant itself. Price was eleven bucks for three tacos, but I'd've been happy with two. Three would be good if you're hungry, but for a regular meal, two was plenty. Def check this place out.UPDATE APRIL 2024:Tacos are still excellent, though the veganism is no longer mandatory, so there are more options. The carrot one I loved before was not available, but that could just be for today as I'm sure the menu changes seasonally, if not more frequently. This time I had the usual kale/potato, a mushroom taco, and the cabbage taco. The kale potato was the clear winner this time, primarily because the salsa on it is so good. The mushroom was next best and finally the cabbage. I think the cabbage just needed a bit of texture. It was just some green cabbage that was braised, so believe the addition of some crunchy, raw red cabbage would have put it over the top, but to each their own. Still an excellent vegetarian/vegan lunch and with reasonable prices given the locale, so still worth a visit.“

“Really nice bakery/mill.Unfortunately no plugs or wifi to work but a really nice spot for fresh, healthy breads and a nice setting. When I first walked in they were brewing fresh chai and I could smell the spices. Unfortunately the concentrate wasn't as spicy as it smelled but was still good. They even have a picture where they source their grain and dairy, and sugar and other products from.Overall great experience and will be back.“
“(Review for takeout) WOW! I don't expect much from takeout but the food was so good! I got Cambodian style pho with pork shoulder and it was delicious. The meat wasn't over cooked, the broth was warm and cozy, and all the other accompaniments paired with it so well! I can't wait to actually dine in and order other dishes! I didn't know Somebody Feed Phil was here and now I'm not surprised. Thank you for the food! I felt like I was at someone's house visiting for lunch!“

“While in the area, I stumbled upon this hidden gem. From the moment that I walked in, I was greeted politely, informed of the days special and offered a tasting. Everything was so delicious that I can't only recommend one item. Will definitely be a repeat customer in the near future.“

“We are so glad to see this cafe do well in our neighborhood. I believe in cafes in every neighborhood. We walk our dog every morning and grab hot chocolate and coffee when we walk by this place. They have recently redid their interiors. Looks much spacious now and very welcoming. With my drinks, I often get their samosa or spinach puffs. It's so good. For lunch, my go to is their Ethiopian combo. They have 5 different veggies and recently added meat as well. Absolutely delicious! Depending on how busy they are, expect to wait for the Ethiopian entree. Worth it.“

“I came here at happy hour and was able to grab a table outside. They did have different drafts for happy hour than listed on their website so maybe they rotate them every so often. I got diamonds, fur coat, and champagne and that is your typical sour and was not bad. I was less of a fan of the white bicycle one. Not a bad brewery to go to if you are in the neighborhood.“

“Everything, especially the food, is unexpectedly great. Especially the avocado toast with the lot (add Cholula!) Sunshine Burrito and Vanilla, oat iced latte. The blueberry muffin doesn’t have a ton of them in it which is my preference. And the vegan muffin is close (in taste) to a carrot cake. Whew! My favs!! ?“

“My friend and I went to Dacha Beer Garden to have a small birthday celebration. Fayzi was definitely the host with the most for the occasion. Despite him waiting on numerous tables simultaneously, he made sure to be attentive, pleasant, and hospitable with us. I will be sure to come back in the future. In the meantime, please covey my gratitude to Fayzi.“

“Takeout of two cheese pizzas on Mother's Day at 3pm. We called ahead and there was zero wait to grab the pies! In and out in less than a minute. Young lady at the register was friendly.Pizza was very good, albeit just a tad too thin for me. I believe that's New Haven-style. No one's fault. Mine was light cheese, which I impulsively ordered. I'll go with regular cheese next time.Parking: My ride just waited for me outside, but I'm pretty sure there's a mix of paid street parking and free street parking (depending when you arrive). Pete's is on the corner on Wisconsin, so I think the spots on that road are paid, but if you go into the surrounding neighborhoods, I think you'll find free street parking, too.“

“It was a very great experience out with family. It’s perfect for a lunch or a dinner spot. It’s not super fancy but has a comfortable place. The counter is used for ordering and then the server brings it out. The food tasted great. And there’s ice cream options by the counter. Would go back again.“

“Went here on what seems to have been a slow night. The service was friendly but a bit slow. Everything here looks absolutely delicious... unfortunately most items didn't live up to that. Not that they were bad, just kind of meh. Cake slices go for $11. They don't sell pints of ice cream here, but you can pick them up at Whole Foods or Giant.“
