“Been to bubbies many times and it’s always so worth the trip! Really appreciate how often they send coupons, gives us the push to order and enjoy their food. We’ve also ordered it for delivery and never had any issues, it’s obviously no longer hot because of the distance but our order has always been correct! Highly recommend.“

“Great shawarma, friendly service, excellent selection and quality of salads to add to the pita, and surprisingly quick. It's Adams Morgan so parking is difficult (and not their fault), but that is the only negative. Prices very fair for kosher meat.“

“I tried both the pastrami and the corned beef on rye with mustard. The corned beef is made in house and the pastrami is not, which is normal enough for a Jewish style deli. The corned beef was very good and the pastrami was I guess ok. Go with the corned beef. The pastrami was too lean and not that tender. The soup of the day which was a white bean soup was pretty good. Two sandwiches and a cup of soup with tax and tip was about $40. That was fine. This is definitely a hole in the wall dive and it is cash only and only open during the week during the day. Don't be surprised if the customers banter each other or the staff or if somebody is selling sheet sets there.“

“Seated quickly at 5:30 pm on a Wednesday. Menus brought and ice water. We ordered and they brought warm fresh pita bread and Israeli salads to share. I ordered a rib eye medium done and it came out well done. Had to return it and when the new one came out it was rare. No happy medium. Green beans were delicious. Wife ordered Jerusalem mix with rice which was good. Service was slow, took a long time to get refills on water and more salads! Asked for a to go box and waitress never brought it, I went to the kitchen to ask for one. Food is good but slow service!“

Small indoor area, lots of tables, lots of big and small people, friendly. Long wait for food. But everything tastes sooooo good! Outdoor tables are an option. Lots of free parking available.“
