Really nice place. Loved the French vibes and everything is really very high quality. Food was great though maybe a bit shy of knocking my socks off. We tried calamari, pierogis, spaghetti bolognese, beef bourginon all at dinner, and at a previous brunch visit the croque monsieur, gruyere omelet, avocado toast, and chocolate croissant. Brunch was my favorite of the two trips and I definitely recommend the croque monsieur and chocolate croissant.
Enjoyed checking Pastis out for Sunday brunch. It’s a beautiful space that does feel like a piece Paris inside. The pancakes are top three in dc the avocado tartine was excellent. Rated food less stars because a lot of things we ordered were over salted. Want to return for dinner to evolve my opinion nice to have another option in the area.
