One of the best espresso martinis in dc and the house Cabernet is equal to most other restaurants top option by the glass.The prosciutto and mozzarella app was great, but I wasn’t a huge fan of the pasta I got. My friend’s spaghetti was the big winner. Mine was good, just not filling. If I wasn’t super hungry it would have been perfect.Definitely a go to if you’re looking for good Italian food and cocktails. Our server was incredible too. Perfect service.
We chose Tosca for good reason, welcomed by the owner who made us feel like we were in his home. Excellent service and excellent cuisine, dishes prepared with professionalism and personality, the orecchiette offered were wonderful. Proud to be represented by An Italian in America. Everything about this restaurant is high class. Reservations are a must. The food and service are top notch. Mixed drinks were prepared very well. We had the chef's tasting menu. While it's at the top of the price curve it's well worth the money. The portions are surprisingly large for the 4 courses one receives. A must if you are in DC.
