“Overall, this was an amazing way to celebrate Mother's Day! Everything, from the food, service, noise level, and scenery, was excellent. A couple of recommendations, the collard greens would be better if you used smoked turkey juice and/or chicken broth verses vinegar. Additionally, the Taste of the South would be next level if you added the pimento cheese hush puppies in lue of the corn bread.“

“The folks at this place are so, so nice. I had a little snafu with online ordering today— the 3rd party app I used canceled my order, and I didn’t realize until I got to the restaurant to pick it up. The manager (?) who greeted me at the front of the restaurant immediately took care of it, and made my to-go order super fast! I think his name was Matt (? based on my receipt, although he might have had someone else ring it up). Anyway, thank you for being so kind and accommodating!Also, the food was excellent!!! The burger was delicious, and the fries were crispy and very tasty. The salad was excellent too.“

“I’m glad to have a real soul food place located near me. I enjoyed the food overall but wanted just a tad bit more flavor in the greens and mac and cheese. The wings are great though! The prices are really good, so I plan to come back and try other menu items.“

“A very special place for a nice Sunday brunch. They have $8 cocktails from 12pm-4pm on Sundays and for happy hours. The food was a little wait but worth every minute. The staff was fun and attentive. I was also very pleased by the portion sizes.Some of the favorites at the table was the catfish--both of the fried and blackened variations. The potato salad and collard greens were popular sides and you dont want to skip the cornbread!Parking: You will have to find parking in the surrounding neighborhood. If someone has physical mobility challenges, plan to provide assistance with entering and exiting the restaurant.“
