“Loved my Mother's day treat (early). My son loves to eat a Michelin star restaurants, (he often cooks like a Michelin * chef) so he and his wife treated me to this experience. The food was amazing. Everything was delishes. My favorite was the pate with pasion fruit jel on top, and the ice cream avocado and rubarb dessert. The lamb was cooked to perfection and the wellington was unique and delishes (Gave my son some ideas ;-). It was overall a Wondwrful meal, with great attention to details.“

“I have gone for happy hour at the bar around 7 times now and have tried all of the items on the menu. The happy hour menu is not only absolutely delicious, but super affordable and provides a great selection of food. I also often tend to end my happy hour meal with their churros (not on the happy hour menu) as they are fantastic. The nutella and dulce de leche are heavenly.The bartenders are also amazing to talk to and are very attentive.I highly recommend this place to everyone!“

“Had a beautiful evening, sitting outside in Dupont Circle and enjoying dinner. The meatballs, grilled octopus, and asparagus were fantastic. Highly recommended. Also enjoyed croquettes and bacon wrapped dates. Perfect setting for eating outdoors when the weather is good.“

“Came for some after work drinks with a friend after we both had a rough day. Even with it being slammed for a Tuesday the staff were incredible. Our bartender Taylor had the best recommendations, made sure to double check with us if we had any allergies and was generally just very kind and we didn’t feel rushed to leave as you can feel in some DC bars.We will definitely be coming back.“

“Don’t let Atxondo’s modest looks deceive you. I was skeptical but some friends wanted to try this place so I went along. I was very pleasantly surprised. We ate vegetarian and everything was excellent. I can recommend the brussel sprouts, tortilla española, crispy potatoes, coliflor, golden beets, fried shishitos, and risotto. I almost forgot to mention the interesting drink menu and the best flan I’ve ever had. Service was great too. Go with a group so you can try everything!“
