“The best Starbucks I have ever been to. The Manager, Kurt ran a well oiled machine. The staff was some of the best I have encountered. I came in for the first time on Thursday evening and when I came back the next day Kurt remembered my name and order. I fully expect to hear that he is the regional manager when I go back. “As a single mother I was having a troubled cold morning with a sick toddler. From the moment I walked in; although busy with inventory CeCe acknowledged me and had me wait on another associate from the back. With urgency Tay arrives and had the best attitude! Offered menu items and very patient. The most important thing is he made my sick daughter smile. He made her feel welcomed. And even gave mom her props as well. Destiny made the best drinks for me and baby girl and smiled the entire time with great conversation. She was the first to greet us walking in. This type of service is important. Especially here based in DC. Gives the neighborhood a different vibe. I’ll see you every Sunday! I pray it’s the same shift! GANG ??“

“This Starbucks on Michigan Ave NE in DC had a pleasant staff working this morning. The only issue was the guda sandwiches were kind of old & when cooked had a tough bun when eaten. Other than that the food is, most of the time, decent there even though you cannot really customize the food with different toppings/items because it all is frozen (& everyone knows this who is an avid patron of Starbucks -- & overpriced). But you get fast service most of the time & I really go there for their coffees & lattes from a qualified, trained Bautista.Parking: THIS IS A VERY BUSY street on the WEEKDAYS!YOU MUST USE the ParkMobile (or other) DC parking app. The time-limit signs, are usually 2-hours. There is no paying on Sundays, but there IS ON SATURDAYS, usually.Wheelchair accessibility: This Starbucks is on a "Y" -shaped intersection. The entrance is off Michigan Ave NE, in Washington, DC. There is parking in front of the store's entrance but there is a bike lane then a curb before the sidewalk & then the entrance. To access a wheelchair ramp you must go to the intersection & use the ramp there...“

“Made mobile order for pickup. Arrive after 5 minutes. It located at the southernmost of UDC building and closest to the Metro Station escalators. It offers both outdoor and indoor seatings. Received friendly greetings upon walking in. The croissant was warm as promised. Received another warm thank-you when walking out.“

“This place is conveniently located inside the Hilton and offers online ordering. I highly recommend using the online ordering function instead of walking up because it tends to get busy. Pros: kind staff, good selection, keeps you safe from the weather. Cons: can get very busy. Overall : Highly recommended if staying at the Hilton, The Mall or if getting off the Metro nearby.“

“super fast service, even though only two people were working (the manager named Hung and a barista). came in on the way to the metro and was expecting a line but i ended up waiting no more than a few minutes for my coffee. definitely a good thing that it is tucked in!“

“The staff at this location are fantastic—professional, friendly, and efficient. They deserve only praise. And it's properly staffed for how busy they can get!The only thing I'd say that'd keep me from leaving a five star review is that they seem to prioritize online orders over walk-ins. I'm happy to switch over to online ordering if it's better for this particular location, but I do wish walk-in orders were treated with a similar level of urgency.“

“Great location and lovely staff working here - always a smile, hello, and cheerful engagement. There are some constant staff and then some rotation but have to say I always feel valued and appreciated as a customer. They are super fast at doing your drinks and food. I do order a few minutes before I go there as I live down the road and its handy to get the order in, breeze in and they have it ready. I also don't mind waiting but figure sometimes its easier for them when you order ahead.Location is always spotless and there is nearly always someone cleaning up, wiping floors or making sure its clean. They do have seating outside the store which closes in the evenings but is usually well set with students from AU and retirees and business folks doing interviews and meetings. They also have outside seating which is fab in the warmer weather. Depending on the time of day you may or may not be lucky to get seating. In winter there are some seats along the walkways to the medical center so if you're stuck walk down the corridor and you'll find some spots to park yourself.Great beverages, tasty treats and great staff. I love it!“

“This has to be the absolute best Starbucks in the DMV. The love and hospitality they have to everyone is super! My granddaughter and I come often and they know she loves the donuts after school ?. I appreciate each worker and encourage them to continue the excellent service!“

“I was here on St. Patricks Day for a meeting in the area. The store was super clean and fresh and had really cute St. Patrick's Day decorations. Service was very fast with no delay despite the fact I could see they had many "call before" orders. People were coming in and grabbing coffees and eats while I was there, yet my order was out in less than 3 minutes! Staff were friendly, cheerful and clearly engage well with their locals yet I was also greeted with a smile and chat despite it being my first time there. I love that! Starbucks did well hiring here! My coffee was delicious and hit the spot and my food was yum. I'd come here again if I am in that area again!Kid-friendliness: For sure - they have kid friendly food and drinks and easy to get service there. I didnt have kids with me but imagine the staff here are very kid-friendly based on their cheerfulness and demeanour! I bet they chat to local kids that come in with their parents all the time!Parking: Easy to get to and well signposted. Some parking in the area, not just for cars but also handy bike spots close by so that makes it easy if passing by and want a coffee on a whim!“

“Decided to check this location out while I was at Skyland Town Center for an event. The service was amazing! They ran out of a few items as they were really busy that morning. I decided to get the Spiced Apple Cider, and it was delicious! Will definitely be coming here again the next time I am at or near Skyland.“

“Very nice place to take a break on JBAB.I am not a coffee fan. I have friends and family members that are, very much, coffee fans. That means that they like Starbucks. So I have been to many Starbucks over the years. I wanted to put that in context before I said this. This is a very nice Starbucks! It is located on the north side of the parking lot from the Exchange on Joint Base Alexandria Bolling. It is a corner store and has large windows along the front of the store. The inside of the store has limited seating options. It has a tile floor and a slatted wood counter There is a single large tall table in the center and some seats along 2 walls to the left as you enter. The store was very inviting and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The counter is located straight ahead as you enter. The menu is behind the counter and they had a good selection of food and drinks that you would expect at these stores. You order at one end of the counter and pay and your drinks are delivered at the other end. I got an iced tea and was pleased with the results. Overall it was a very pleasant experience that I would recommend to travelers in the area both as a respite from a busy travel day or just a place to get a good relaxing drink. Enjoy!“

“I work at The Pendry as the Front Office Manager and had a little difficult day with our guests. I stepped into Starbucks for a little pick me up. Nola asked me how my day was going. I informed her that it was a challenging day with guests. Her words to me were , “what would you like to order, we are here to make it right” she was so kind and thoughtful and gave me a cake pop on the house. She listened to the subtle cues and her hospitality was tremendous! Instantly I felt taken care of, valued, and I want to come back to see her. It is the little things that go a long way. “One of the nicer Starbucks I've visited. Good ambience for hanging out. Cozy. My favorite food at Starbucks is the spinach feta egg wrap. The coffee is decent, but there are more impressive coffee drinks at other places, like Peets, Philz coffee, or Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf on the west coast.“

“Marriot hotels are always good places to stay. Being members we booked the Washington DC property for a night. The hotel is pet friendly and we had our dog accompany us. Check in was smooth, as were bell boy services to get in bags. Rooms are well appointed with coffee maker and supplements. Members lounge offers refreshments morning and evening. There is a Starbucks outlet on board which we used. Valet parking is recommended if you have your own car. The hotel is 15 minutes away from The White House - Lincoln memorial- Victory Tower- War memorial etc. The staff is courteous and attentive. Security people are watchful for guest safety. Worth to stay here if you come to DC.“

“Visited D.C. for a few days and hit this Starbucks each morning, at both busier & less busy times. Every time, the staff was friendly, attentive, and efficient! They seem to genuinely enjoy each other AND taking great care of their customers: I had one mistake that they immediately corrected and seemed happy to do so! :-)Not the most modern Sbux, but clean, comfortable, and 5-Star service. “I walk two extra blocks passing another Starbucks to come to this location. I’m always greeted and the service is quick. They don’t let you stand there while making drinks for those not in the cafe. Makes a big difference in the mornings. The music is always good and I love starting my mornings with this “

“EXTREMELY WELCOMING!!! The place is very clean and their bathrooms, also spotless!! I came in here today because my phone died and the first thing I hear when I walk into the door is a happy and probably the most welcoming hello I have ever heard! “This restaurant is near the waterfront. You can grab a bottled drink to go or have a warm or cold beverage made by a barista. The baristas as nice. I worked a bit at a table. I wasn't rushed off. The restaurant speakers are a bit louder by the retail items. The croissants were good. They have free wifi.“

“The staff is great, it's located close to the National Gallery and Mall, and you can get all your favorite drinks. Unfortunately, there's no place to sit. Chairs and tables were removed because people coming off the street were taking up the seats and harassing the paying customers. Sad.“
