“Had dinner before the Oh He Dead concert on Saturday December 17, 2022. We arrived a little before our seating and immediately were greeted and taken to our spots. Ian was outstanding! He was attentive, descriptive and helped create a good experience. Dan, our bartender, was magnificent. He created delectable cocktails and we also chatted along the way (we had bar seats which I highly recommend). This was very reasonably priced, we left very filled and happy. I want to give the highest possible compliments to Ian and Dan. The entire experience was perfect, largely because of the great food, but they took the experience well beyond a 1 star evening!“

“Amazingly flavorful food, we were absolutely floored. The grilled chayote squash (chayote asado) has incredibly delicate and complex flavors. The cochinita pibil taco was great, savory and juicy like you would expect, with good flavor. The guac was bursting with flavor. Made in a molcajete, of course, at the guac station in the middle of the dining area. Speaking of which, the decor is playful and hip. The place was quite crowded (understandably so since it was a weekend). We had to wait for a few minutes for our table despite having a reservation. Highly recommend checking out this place, but go on a weeknight if you can help it.“

“Wife and I live in DC. We go 4 or 5 times per year. Best dinning experience in DC. Don’t even read the menu. Let Bonnie great server, just bring you food and wine pairings. Blow you away. We usually sit at the upstairs bar. Chefs table was great as well. The wine flight is worth every penny. Bring your Amex!“

“This place is amazing! My partner and I sat at the bar. The bar attenders who waited on us were so friendly and helpful. The Som helped us picked out a bottle of wine as well.We split the focaccia, arancini, fusilli, and the pork Milanese. All very good and I love how simple their menu is.I am 1000% going to be craving the Pork Milanese again very soon. This place wasn’t cheap by any means but it was reasonable for the quality, great for a date night or special occasion.“

“A very special place for a nice Sunday brunch. They have $8 cocktails from 12pm-4pm on Sundays and for happy hours. The food was a little wait but worth every minute. The staff was fun and attentive. I was also very pleased by the portion sizes.Some of the favorites at the table was the catfish--both of the fried and blackened variations. The potato salad and collard greens were popular sides and you dont want to skip the cornbread!Parking: You will have to find parking in the surrounding neighborhood. If someone has physical mobility challenges, plan to provide assistance with entering and exiting the restaurant.“

From the hostess's accommodation of our late arrival, friendly greeting, and front door coat check to our waiter’s, Elmer, and wait staff’s attentive service throughout our visit, Cranes was superb! The Faux-jito, Squash Hummus, Ramen, and Iberico Pork Fried Rice were fantastic! When there was a problem with our bill, it was quickly resolved. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend!!!“

“This is a really sweet cafe with delicious pastries and a full menu of Armenian food. The space itself is really inviting and comfortable and the staff are friendly. I highly recommend the Mountain Tea which is made with thyme and is really unique. I always stop in for one when I'm walking by!“

“We had an amazing dinner with great atmosphere watching flamenco dance, the food was mind blowing, as well as the service and drinks. I got lamb chopsticks and a dessert, all was high quality, we spent around 2-3 hours there and absolutely loved the experience, thank you!“

“I have gone for happy hour at the bar around 7 times now and have tried all of the items on the menu. The happy hour menu is not only absolutely delicious, but super affordable and provides a great selection of food. I also often tend to end my happy hour meal with their churros (not on the happy hour menu) as they are fantastic. The nutella and dulce de leche are heavenly.The bartenders are also amazing to talk to and are very attentive.I highly recommend this place to everyone!“

“My husband, myself, and our three sons dined here last night. It was a such a wonderful and unique experience from start to finish. We had the pasta paella, the oxtail croquettas, the pork belly bao, the ceviche for dinner. For dessert we had the jelly like pie, the cafecito, and the chocolate and mango/passion fruit ice creams. The music and atmosphere were so dreamy. The decor was so beautifully interlaced together with tropical plants and midcentury modern furniture and fixtures. We will be back on our next trip to the DC area.“

“Had a beautiful evening, sitting outside in Dupont Circle and enjoying dinner. The meatballs, grilled octopus, and asparagus were fantastic. Highly recommended. Also enjoyed croquettes and bacon wrapped dates. Perfect setting for eating outdoors when the weather is good.“

“Came for some after work drinks with a friend after we both had a rough day. Even with it being slammed for a Tuesday the staff were incredible. Our bartender Taylor had the best recommendations, made sure to double check with us if we had any allergies and was generally just very kind and we didn’t feel rushed to leave as you can feel in some DC bars.We will definitely be coming back.“

“Wine store and bar in one. Relaxed ambiance and great wine. The bar gets pretty full around 4-5 but for good reason everyone likes to hangout here especially after work. If you end up really liking a wine you can buy a bottle from the store section which I appreciated“

“Was here for lunch, after a long drive from New York. Had a great time! The place looks amazing. Modern minimalism, yet so comfortable. Noel, our server was great! Friendly, nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. The drinks selection is also great, and they have mocktails which was great for my daughter. Overall, our visit was so great!“

“Don’t let Atxondo’s modest looks deceive you. I was skeptical but some friends wanted to try this place so I went along. I was very pleasantly surprised. We ate vegetarian and everything was excellent. I can recommend the brussel sprouts, tortilla española, crispy potatoes, coliflor, golden beets, fried shishitos, and risotto. I almost forgot to mention the interesting drink menu and the best flan I’ve ever had. Service was great too. Go with a group so you can try everything!“

“The manager came by and asked us how the food was and we weren’t yet prepared but since he was asking for feedback on the new brunch items I will provide here. I got the avocado toast and it was a tad small, not bad but yeah so I ordered a medium fried and it was over cooked but the waitress seemed weird that I ordered an egg when most avocado toasts around here come with an egg. But the actual avocado toast was very good just needs to have a little more substance with an egg or something. And then my friend ordered the omelette and it was so small. I think it was one egg only and most omelette are three eggs. But she said it was good just not very filling.“

“Went for my birthday and while it was expensive for two drinks for two people ($100), for a special occasion this is perfect. Jordan made the heck out of our drinks. Amazing views of the wharf, the Jefferson memorial and parts of DC. Great atmosphere, drinks, and vibes. Friendly staff. Attentive. Would 100% return again“

“Whoever cooked my steak Sunday night is an absolute master of the grill. Steak is never cooked just right when dining out, but it was Sunday night at 1331. It was perfectly seared and cooked to perfection. The creamed artichoke was interesting, I'm glad I got to try it, but I'm not sure I would order it again.“
