“I am truly a pick eater so anytime I'm able to do a full tasting menu with no worries about having eating restrictions I jump at the opportunity. Oyster Oyster has such a carefully crafted menu for vegans and vegetarians alike. The only element that is not vegan is the oyster they serve as one of the tasting elements. Other than that, it is truly a vegan person's heaven. So much fresh vegetables cooked in ways I literally could not have dreamed up. The Gnocchi mushroom dish served with the broccoli bread was my absolute favorite part of the menu. The bread was served with marigold butter that absolutely blew my mind. Do yourself a favor and also try the Non Alcoholic tasting menu to accompany your dish as it was such a great way to get more fresh juices and tonics to accompany the meal. I highly highly recommend this place to everyone and a round of applause to their excellent service as well.“

“Five stars all around. This was our first time at LuLu’s and we’ll definitely be back. 100% a place you want to bring a date or friends and family from out of town. Food was good, decent portions for the price, and the vibe was great - lighting that wasn’t obnoxiously dark or bright, music that was meant to be in the background so you could hear it but also talk at a normal volume, and cool seating near heaters if you just wanted to chill with a drink instead of having a whole meal. The Manager was the best I’ve interacted with, when I brought up missing avocado on my sandwich she was awesome about it; and when it turned out I was wrong - I didn’t actually check the box for avocado - the she was so gracious, didn’t give me grief, and still hooked us up with some cake (don’t let the picture fool you into thinking it’s boxed cake, it’s not, it’s the most amazing leche cake). Seriously, not a flaw to be found.PS The whipped feta is going to be the best you’ve ever had and the avocado ceasar is delish.“

“We are tourist & was searching for a place too eat since our first choice for dinner totally ignored us after we sat there 30 minutes we left. This pizza joint is absolutely delicious. The thin crust was delicious especially on the cheese pizza. The only negative thing I have too say is y’all charging too much for a house salad. I mean if you gonna charge $14 @ least give me something other than basic lettuce.“

“Had a fabulous time at Vin Sur Vingt!! Came around 6 with a friend for dinner. We had a reservation but the restaurant was empty so it'd be easy to walk in and there was plenty of space at the bar. We were seated immediately and our waiter came over quickly. We had a few questions on wines and were trying to decide between the two orange wines on the menu as those are our favorites. Our waiter was really kind and let us try both and we ended up getting a bottle. The wine was DELICIOUS we were so pleased. They have a ton of really reasonably priced bottles which is nice and an extensive list of wines by the glass. For food I had a variation of a croquettes madam with pesto and it was fabulous, decadent, and filling. The sandwiches come with fries or salad (I got both) and everything was delicious. The salad was fresh, well seasoned and tasty, and the fries have a really unique seasoning, also really tasty. The atmosphere is great. Dimly lit and quiet enough to chat. Great for a girls dinner/catching up with friends. The service overall and our waiter was stellar! Super attentive and friendly. Can't wait to come back.“

“The Eastern is just a couple of blocks from my daughter and son-in-law and is our go to place when we visit them in DC. They have a fabulous menu, however, we love the small shareable plates. The pork sliders, glazed carrots and pimento cheese dip are wonderful. The wait staff is knowledgeable and attentive and always ready to suggest a wine to pair with our food. We love the atmosphere and the local vibe and are warmly greeted like old friends. Love this place.“

“What a wonderful and cozy spot to grab a bite and catch up with friends! We stopped by one evening and had a nice spot near the bar and were able to enjoy a few appetizers and flights! The waiter was great and was able to answer our questions about the wines which was super helpful!“

“This is a pretty nice lowkey wine spot in the Georgetown area. It was a little hard to find initially since it's on the inside of a hotel. The decor is eye catching as a bright neon sign welcomes you into the space with grassy walls and a few small tables inside, and outside more of the same in the patio area with heaters as well to accommodate the cold months. They have a wide variety of options domestic and abroad by the glass or bottle or you can even do flights with 2 half glasses or 4 full glasses for $15 or $25 respectively. I ended up trying out a couple glasses of their 2021 elio perrone moscato d'asti and the 2020 Xanudo chardonnay. The Chardonnay was my favorite of the two the taste was pretty complex but had a buttery and smooth finish and the moscato was solid not overly sweet. All in all this seems like a great venue to have a night cap or for a date night so I definitely recommend paying them a visit.“

I finally stopped by for lunch and was taken aback by the beautiful interior, kind and attentive waitstaff, and quality of the food and wine. Our party ordered the quiche off the lunch menu as well as the pizza, and the portions were perfecty sized and absolutely mouthwatering. Devante, our server, was an absolute gem and made us feel right at home. Tucked away on Pennsylvania Ave and in close proximity to the Capital, I am already planning a return visit.“
