“This place slaps! Tried Korean bbq and Nashville sliders. Very tender and crispy chicken cooked to perfection. I will for sure come back. Wish they had more seats but the turnover was fast that I was still able to get a table by the time the food came out.“

“I have been eating there for over 15 years. Terrific food at a great price. A great alternative to fried food.“

“Real southern taste, great food. Service terrible, missing sides for a second night in a row! I'll avoid going around 9:00pm from here on out! Be careful ordering online they will leave out expensive sides! I'll definitely be back but for breakfast because the place looks nice.“

“We had the very best experience with Christine when PDQ participated in our town’s Ocean Brews & Blues event down at the beach on May 18. She is a stellar example of someone who provides friendly, efficient customer service - ensuring you are happy with what you are eating and the overall experience. I have met her on several occasions and each time, I am impressed by her.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly food and atmosphere and always supportive of our schools and local community programs which is much appreciated by so many of us.“

“Hook's is a hole in the wall restaurant off Hillsboro. The building is a bit run down, but the food makes up for that. We tried the fried shrimp, the chicken nuggets, and the chicken tenders. The fried shrimp was absolutely excellent. The chicken nuggets are essentially big chunks of chicken breast, similar to the tenders. They were served fresh and very hot, so hot in fact that we felt the chicken tasted better after cooling down for 15 minutes or so. Hook's does have a drive through and it was consistently busy for our entire time there. The service inside was a bit slow due to the drive through.“

“Nice lil’ breakfast/brunch/lunch spot. We came here for brunch. The gentleman behind the counter was hilarious ? There’s no where to sit in here so we couldn’t dine in technically. However, there some picnic like table just right outside . It was a really nice day we ordered our food and ate it outside. Food was hot and fresh. The cheesy grits were *chefs kiss* Will be back again. I wish there was indoor seating . When we were leaving the gentleman said “hope you enjoy and if not I guess y'all not coming back!” ?Too funny“

“I give it 10 stars! Being from Chicago, I’m used to amazing food. My husband and I tried this for the first time today. Tony greeted us like we were family. This was the best fried chicken we’ve ever eaten. It was crispy juicy and not greasy. We are now life time customers!“
