Very, very good. Felt like a place in Greece. Great service and atmosphere. I really liked the lamb. I got the giant beans, but they didn't remind me of the ones I've had in Greece, but still good. I will go back for sure.

Went to dinner last night- Very disappointing. Sat at bar with terrible service. Food was ok - should have went to Chris Taverna better good and atmosphere and would have left happy! Never again!

Everything was amazing as usual. We never get disappointed with Souvlaki Gr, foods and the service. Alex brought us an extra portokalopita. I highly recommend everyone to try Souvlaki Gr if you are into Greek/Mediterranean cuisine. Every time I feel like I am actually visiting a greek island, love the decoration, ambiance and greek music.

We always enjoy the food at Souvlaki GR. Our only complaint is that the service can be slow depending on the night. In general though, if you are not in a hurry, it's well worth the wait and is very good and flavorful for the money.

Ambiance is comfortable. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Martinis are a big draw! Food was great!! We had numerous appetizers that three of us shared ~ fried zucchini, favs bean dip, the meatballs, the zucchini croquettes ~ all were delicious and recommended!! We can't wait to go again and move further into the entree section!!

Souvlaki gr is a hopping restaurant in a pretty outdoor strip mall. When we went for dinner the place was packed inside and out. There is an abundance of outside seating. You feel like you are stepping into an authentic Greek restaurant. We started with a Greek salad which had cucumbers, green peppers, tomatoes and feta. If you want lettuce, you have to pay an additional charge to get it on the side. We then got a 6 skewer dinner, which consisted of pork and chicken. For a 3 dollar charge we substituted a pork skewer for a shrimp skewer. The meats were moist and tender. We also got a side of lemon potatoes which came with the meal, which was very tasty. Everything is ala carte so it does get pricey. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. We will definately be returning in the near future.

Restaurant is always busy and able to prepare excellent food and serve at a high level . Dee Dee the hostess is such a delight and always smiling . Highly recommend ! Nikko our waiter was amazing . Once you try this place you'll be hooked .

The atmosphere, the decor & the music transports you to a Greek island ... so fun ! Roberto (very friendly) brought extra olives (authentic) and extra greens for my delicious Mediterranean salad. My dad enjoyed the lunch menu with generous servings (just be sure to notice certain items have an "up charge"- later explained to us thoroughly & made sense) He loved the rice pudding with a dash of cinnamon! And the whole meal was very delicious!! The owner stopped by & offered us coffee... we will be back !

Went there 4/1. Party of 7 (my family of 4 and another family of 3). All of us got food poisoning (extremely bad). The only item we all had together was water and the hummus and pita they provide in the beginning. Called to speak with a manager, said we take it seriously and the owner will call. Never heard back from anyone to get more info from me. While I have to say the food was very good I cannot go back after that experience.

Already posted review a year ago.... Food & service still great. Lunch special price went up... but that is expected & not I reasonable. It is still a great deal.

Had dinner at the lovely, atmospheric Souvlaki GR in West Boynton with another couple. Table was a little skimpy for four but it was in a nice spot. Finally our waiter appeared with a pita cut in quarters with a bit of hummus. That lasted all of 3 seconds and we kind of asked for more. And the waiter kind of indicated that there would be a charge. So we settled for our quarter. Our order of a giant tile fish (cooked to order too long) and a Greek salad, lots of tomatoes, cheese, and lettuce and not over abundant in anything was tasty. The vegetables that came with the fish, except we exchanged fried potatoes for string beans , were ordinary. Dessert, an extra, was a custard phyllo dough pastry and was delicious. The main dish, fish, was over cooked, tough, and tasteless. We will not be returning for the quarter of a pita. I heard from others that if you are only two people you still get a whole pita!

One of my favorite please to eat in South Florida. The food is always delicious, service is great, ambience is nice. Very unique restaurant interior design makes me feel as though I’m back in the Greek Islands. The lemon potatoes, halloumi cheese, Greek fries and veggie mousaka are delicious! Highly recommend!

3rd time dining there. Service was pathetic. Long wait to get a waiter. Not too long to be served. Then he completely disappeared.Mixed reviews from our group on the food. Some were pleased, some were terribly disappointed.Sad to say, I won’t return.

Excellent food, fine service, but lousy value. Incredibly overpriced for a strip mall Greek restaurant, even if it is a beautiful strip mall!! Entree items line moussaka, partition, etc., conceit nothing. Sides are extra and bread service consists of a couple of little pita triangles. All tasty, just no value snd the admittedly nice Greek village ambiance is not adequate compensation!
