“I had a birthday party coming up and I talk with the owner of the restaurant. Her name is Honey she’s the sweetest lady I ever met. I had my catering on December 9 and she helped me through everything. The food was so good I got macaroni cheese, collard greens, yams, made mini muffin cornbread and she gave me ribs, chicken barbecue it was so good 10 out of 10 must recommend if you want any catering done for a birthday party, a baby shower, Christmas party anything I recommend you going to her and her business I love it“

“Second time visiting, I had already tried the brisket sandwich and the Mac & C and wow, I had never tasted something as authentic from Texas as this in FLL. Today I tried the ribs and chicken, the mix of flavors and the smoky touch, JUST amazing. The service is always super nice, staff is attentive and they speak Spanish too. She did not help me to order instead told me that I ordered to much food and that I will have to pay for the l food that I was not going to eat in an All- you- can- eat. Very unsatisfying experience,there were flies all over our table.“

“Longhorn is our family's favorite chain restaurant.Pros: Our server, Ari, was fantastic. She was on point with our group of eight. Excellent service and good communication.Cons: Our go-to drink of choice is the perfect Margarita, but these were terrible tonight. Our family enjoys Longhorn in both Florida and New York because they consistently provide excellent drinks, food, and service. The female manager tonight had the audacity to tell us that the mix they use is watered down and only occurs on "long pours," but we also had regular sized drinks that were all the same. The fact that she stood there and tried to debate us on their mix and drinks when we're regulars to the establishment is just poor service. We've never had this happen at this or any other Longhorn location. Again, this is our go to drink every time. She did offer to make us the same "watered-down" beverages from the mix. I asked her to bring us a shot to add to the watered-down drinks, and she agreed as long as we paid for them. $8.29 per shot?? I left it alone and packed my food to go. She should have simply offered us the new drinks, improved them, and included the shot for free. I don't need anything for free, but that is the proper service you should provide as an establishment manager. I will have to reconsider visiting this location based solely on her response.Our family's Mother's Day celebration just wasn't that special. But thank you Ari, you are a gem.“

“I had bookmarked McMillon's a while ago in my quest to try as much south Florida bbq places as possible but I hadn't heard anything about it from anyone. On a trip to Miami a few days ago my girlfriend and I decided to try them for lunch. McMillon's both on The outside and inside has an old look to it that reminded me of some of the bbq places I've been to in Memphis and Kansas City. Very basic interior without much decor. We ordered a rib dinner with Mac and cheese and baked beans and an extra side of potato salad. I decided to get a cheeseburger too. The ribs were pretty good. Tender but not fall off the bone (which is over cooked in my book). They do come sauces so be aware. But I must say I Loved their bbq sauce. It was so good that I would have happily bought a jar of it on site but they don't sell it that way sadly. A vinegar/mustard based sauce I would say, similar to what places in South Carolina would make. The Mac and cheese was decent, could use a little more creaminess and cheese. I really liked the baked beans which were heavy in cinnamon and reminded me of the kind of baked beans that many bbq places in the Tampa-area used to serve when I was living there years ago (people called them "cinnabeans"). The burger is huge. They use sliced bread as opposed to traditional bun. I thought the service was pleasant. Maybe slightly disorganized. Would definitely come back and buy their sauce in a to go carton.“

But the constant stream of fellow Asians is always a good sign.I am now in love and this is my favorite place to get authentic meats.We bought cripsy pork, honey roasted spare ribs, roast duck, and honey roasted pork meals. It was simply amazing. The rice is absolutely perfect and the side of steamed nappa cabbage compliments everything perfectly. Very reasonably priced too, typically $11 - $13 depending on which meal you get.The crispy pork and honey roasted spare ribs are very popular! Actually, everything is, so DO NOT wait until 5 PM or later to secure it. They might run out!This is take-out and cash only!“

“They did it again! I was in Fort Lauderdale and I was looking for a place to eat. I was a little bit skeptical about returning to this location. I thought "maybe they just had a good day the first time" or "maybe it was just the chef that was working that day" or " maybe I was just really tired and it tasted good to me in that state" but I decided to be courageous and try it again... When I tell you, my skepticism was erased! It was good the first and they did it again a second time. My taste buds were delighted. The potato was soft creamy all the way through, just cooked to perfection. The meat was well seasoned and paired well with the potato. My only critique is I would have liked more mushrooms because I'm a mushroom girl, but it was great. The restaurant is simple, comfortable, very relaxed and casual l, but clean. This is going to be my go to spot whenever I am in this part of Broward county. THIS is comfort food.“

“I've gone to four Asian markets on SR 7 / 441 from Sample to Commercial. This one has the best selection of a large variety of categories. This is the one I will be going to from now on. Selection of refrigerated meats/vegetables, frozen items, room temp vegetables/spices, a large variety of dry goods/non perishables as well as cookware/tableware items.“
