“I was taken here as a birthday gift. My fish tacos, spinach dip, fresh nacho chips was da bomb. Our host Wendy was great and funny. Jill was the best waitress with great with her recommendations from the menu. We met Jason who came over a showed us some Love. The atmosphere was very welcoming. Observations include lack of stuff on the line, causing a backup customers, as the staff could only serve one person a time. There was a very limited offering of beverages and no soda at all. The food was quite good. Tho a little bit oversalted. Further, It was rather expensive costing $43 for 2 bowls And beverages.“

“Had the Pulled Pork egg roll appetizers to start with. Then ordered the BLT with green fried tomatoes and the pulled pork sandwich both came with fries. I can’t say enough about the food and the portion sizes they serve. The hospitality of the staff is just beyond anything we’ve experienced here in Florida. I would recommend this restaurant any day for lunch or dinner and the weekend for brunch. They are worth every cent you spend there! Kevin has one amazing restaurant here in FLL. “The staff was incredible! Pictures of family members are on the walls of the restaurant, nice touch! I ordered a plethora of items all of which were typical of a soul food restaurant. Mac and cheese, fried wings w/ various sauces , fried ribs, fish and greens. Nothing really stood our as spectacular, however it was hot seasoned decently and the customer service was stellar. I would go back because of proximity,cleanliness, customer service. It's not the best soul food I've ever had,but it was good.Vegetarian options: If you are a strick vegetarian, I would not recommend.Parking: Ope. Parking lot. Restaurant located in a shopping plaza.“
