“I love unique, hole-in-the-wall type restaurants. Quick synopsis: It's a burger bar with elevated, unique dishes above a typical sports bar. The Porky's Lollipops appetizer was fantastic! The French fries here are PERFECT. They're traditional good ol' regular French fries, not the kind that is all crunchy and battered in whatever that stuff is other restaurants sometimes offer. The Spicy Gochujang wings weren't as spicy as I was expecting but still good. After seeing servers with humongous burgers come out, I definitely had diners remorse. The Shrimp tacos were good, but my wife wasn't pleased the menu left out the fact they come with red onion (even a small amount makes her sick). Even the Mac and cheese was delicious! Good experience. Will come back. Criticisms: The online menu is annoying to navigate. Bad user interface and design. Functionally it works but it bounces around all janky when you're trying to read it. Given it's a digital menu--it's time to detail all the ingredients in your dishes--including red onion! Beer selection lacks brown and amber ales on draft. IPAs are for snobs and effeminate men.“

“We ate here after a long drive to go on a cruise, the location is inside the lobby of the hotel, which is great because you don't have to leave to get a good quality meal. We were seated promptly and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was very good, and the seafood tacos were phenomenal.“

However everyone and everything was fantastic from that moment forward. Our server Luc seemed a bit rough around the edges at first glance but he was very personable. The drinks were delicious and I strongly recommend the berries and bourbon. We had a number of exceptional dishes included the lamb, sea bass, gnocchi and filet mignon. Dessert was also delicious and in manageable sizes. We didn't feel rushed and it wasn't so loud that we couldn't hear each other. All in all, it was a lovely meal and it exceeded my expectations.“

“On June 16, we went to Kaluz Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale to celebrate my mother’s 85th birthday. We are regulars at Kaluz to the point where we have the cell phone numbers of several employees. In a nutshell, Anthony, the manager, should not hold that position in a restaurant like Kaluz. My husband and Anthony exchanged words and Anthony’s solution to the issue was telling us, “You should not come back here. The owners do not want parties larger than five people.” My jaw dropped. I could not believe that a manager’s solution to an issue about seating us sooner, while we waited for two other people in our party, especially since my 85-year-old mother could not stand for long, was to tell us, on two separate occasions, that we should not come back. Anthony also put the entire blame on the owners of the restaurant. We go to Kaluz almost on a weekly basis, tip extremely well and have taken countless people there that have also ended up being regulars at Kaluz. No restaurant manager should EVER tell a customer, regular or not, to not come back regardless of the issue. Needless to say, we will not be going back to Kaluz as long as Anthony continues working“

“Stopped by for a business lunch. Since we were meeting here we were all in separate vehicles. There is no parking so only valet which was inconvenient but since the first arrival had already checked his truck we opted to do the same. First negative. Pickups don't work well in those situation. We were great at the door by a friendly hostess and seated immediately which is a positive. We asked for patio but were seated inside with a window view so a neutral. Our waitress was a lot of fun and did an excellent job. She was friendly and knowledgeable. I opted for the salad with grilled shrimp and the house dressing. Someone forgot to season the shrimp as they were bland. The vinaigrette was also not very flavorful which was disappointing. The tea was good. There was another salad and a fish of the day also at the table. Food was ok but just ok and for the parking hassle and the price I would have expected much better. The waitress gets the stars and not the food. Too many good choices to eat in this area to settle for ok at this price point and the parking hassle.“

“We were at American Tapas for a wedding dinner event tonight. The food was so fresh and absolutely delicious. We got to taste many things on the menu because it was an event. Each new item came out perfectly timed. Not all at once and the dishes were plentiful and delicious. There was nothing cheap about their food. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. We were served dish after dish. The wait staff were so accommodating and very friendly. This restaurant is clean, new, modern, and a great place to go for couples, friends nights out or any night to be fun and special. They have a full bar. They also have live entertainment. The gentleman at our event tonight played guitar and sang for almost a full 4 hours. How is fingers still strummed the strings and his voice didn't give out I don't know. But he was exceptional also! Overall, this is going to be my go to place and I would highly recommend it . : side note. The owner from Brazil himself is very involved in the dishes that come out and the recipies. “I went to Six Tables for dinner last night with two friends. Our server Tori was so funny and engaging! The food is incredible! We brought our own wine and the corkage fee was reasonable. You start with a glass of bubbly, followed by an amuse bouche, soup, salad, palate cleansing sorbet, fresh bread, main entrée and dessert. The quality of the food is amazing! It's such a cool concept, only 6 tables, 1 seating at 7pm. It feels very intimate and the service is fabulous. I am looking forward to coming back soon!“
