“I forgot to do it when my waitress asked for it but this is my honest review for Mother's Day and it was really a pleasant experience, my waitress was Dani, even though the good took a while it was excellent and she was really funny. She entertained us throughout the stay and her jokes were super funny .the food was pretty delicious , the atmosphere was also nice, I highly recommend it and ask for Dani, she is the best“

“I have been coming here for years to visit my grandma who lives in this area. Everything is so delicious from the plantain chips to the tres leches. Amazing Cuban food and such a nice workers. There are always people here and that's how you know it's good. I love this place and always one of my top choices when I visit Deerfield. They have live music sometimes too and the vibes are great!“

“I DO NOT RECOMMEND! Went for Happy Hour on Tuesday. No music and nobody there. Overcharged for everything and 18% put on check. Overcharged for draft beer and ordered 1 pastry but charged for 2 that I did not get. Bill should have been $32 but $59 was the amount! Lots of bad rumors out there about this place and unfortunately they are true. I do not reccomend...STAY AWAY! Food I did get was not good Baffled where all these great reviews are coming from??“

“Hook's is a hole in the wall restaurant off Hillsboro. The building is a bit run down, but the food makes up for that. We tried the fried shrimp, the chicken nuggets, and the chicken tenders. The fried shrimp was absolutely excellent. The chicken nuggets are essentially big chunks of chicken breast, similar to the tenders. They were served fresh and very hot, so hot in fact that we felt the chicken tasted better after cooling down for 15 minutes or so. Hook's does have a drive through and it was consistently busy for our entire time there. The service inside was a bit slow due to the drive through.“

Having eaten at most all the fat boy locations to Deerfield has a close personal field that makes the experience seem to have additional value. Our server Teresa took care of us, and made for an enjoyable evening.. From an appetizer to dessert, the presentation and food quality was great. The seafood salad with octopus delicious, pork belly a must, flaming tiger roll. Awesome, Creamy chicken noodle bowl absolutely delicious. Plenty of parking, clean restaurant with beautiful facilities. After the beach or shopping at the mall, head to Phat Boy before calling it a day.Parking: Offstreet on site parking easy access off of Federal Highway. Plenty of handicap, parking easy to get in and out of the restaurant.“
