“Delicious food, lively atmosphere and great service!“

“A friend told us about Papa's Tapas. Looking at the menu online it looked like a place we would enjoy. Three of us went there on a Tuesday about 4:00 and only a few other people were there. My mother has a glass of the Classic Red Sangria which she highly recommends. We placed an order for Tortilla Espanola and Sweet Plantains as we looked at the menu.The rest of our order included; Mini Cubanitos, Papas Bravas, Garbanzos Sauteed, Grilled Steak Quesadilla, Chicken Vegetable Soup, Black Beans, Yellow Rice. We did leave with a box of leftovers. The food was amazing. My mother said it was the best Spanish food she ever had.We went back a couple of weeks later with a group of seven. This allowed us to order more items to share. Once again everything was delicious and the service was excellent.Being in a small strip of stores gives it a parking lot which is nice in this area. If this lot is full you can find free parking heading a block or two north. It’s also a .4 mile walk from the Old School Parking Garage which is free until 4PM.A friend told us about Papa's Tapas. The parking lot will fill up. You can use paid street parking or walk two blocks to the north and find plenty of free parking. The Old School Parking Garage which is free before 4PM or $5 after 4:00 and is a .4 mile walk.Wheelchair accessibility: Not easily wheelchair accessible. The staff are friendly and would help if you have a wheelchair.“

“We have been here before several times but the last time we went had to be the best visit we have had there. The food is really, really good and fresh, And the service is top notch. Very friendly service and waiters, and give us a smile everytime we are here. Keep it up, 5/5 service and atmosphere.“

“We were at American Tapas for a wedding dinner event tonight. The food was so fresh and absolutely delicious. We got to taste many things on the menu because it was an event. Each new item came out perfectly timed. Not all at once and the dishes were plentiful and delicious. There was nothing cheap about their food. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. We were served dish after dish. The wait staff were so accommodating and very friendly. This restaurant is clean, new, modern, and a great place to go for couples, friends nights out or any night to be fun and special. They have a full bar. They also have live entertainment. The gentleman at our event tonight played guitar and sang for almost a full 4 hours. How is fingers still strummed the strings and his voice didn't give out I don't know. But he was exceptional also! Overall, this is going to be my go to place and I would highly recommend it . : side note. The owner from Brazil himself is very involved in the dishes that come out and the recipies. Thanks guys for a wonderful evening!“

“Came here for dinner on a Friday with no reservations. Thought we were gonna have a 45 minute wait but we were actually able to be seated immediately (party of 2). They give you popcorn to start and they mix up the flavor. Ours was Cajun and it was alright. Definitely cool to start with because we were so hungry but not something I would come here just because of.“
