“I am in town for business and after one visit to this little shrine offering stunning Thai cuisine I have been back two more times, and will make it a point to stop in again before I leave. I have lived throughout California, Florida, Ohio, Denver, New Orleans and Minneapolis and can state with absolute certainty this is in the top three of any Thai cuisine I have experienced in over 35 years of being a Thai food fiend. Stellar menu, extraordinary flavors, great service and cute, casual ambience with a Thai flair. So, so, so, so good. ❤️“

“I never knew about Velvet Taco I just happened to be walking by I had no money and I was starving. I went in and asked for something to eat. The manager was absolutely the greatest person on this earth He gave me something to eat and asked what I wanted I chose chicken and waffles. “Celebrated a birthday dinner with them last night. The food & service couldn't have been better. The "Out of Control" raw sushi roll was out of this world. I'm excited to return soon, especially for lunch since our spa is so close. They actually helped solve a problem for me too without knowing it. My clients often find out I'm a former mega yacht chef and quiz me for dining options. I cringe because I'm very reluctant to give master chef level recommendations with such a plethora of ever changing restaurants, price points and service levels. My taste always leans to super fresh, fun, spicy ethnic-ish foods with bold flavors that you probably don't have to mortgage your house to afford. I'll worry no more as you'd be hard pressed not to find something you like on their abundant menu... even if sushi isn't your thing. Don't hesitate.“

“Planta was absolutely spectacular. From the moment I walked in the aesthetic of the place was so pleasing and then to be greeted by someone so friendly is a plus. We had several shareable plates, I was very pleased with their gluten free options. Everything was an explosion of flavor!“

“I had a great experience today. My wife and I came in for Cinco de Mayo. The food was good and the drinks are good. My wife got confused on her order and ordered the wrong taco. Angel was our bartender and he replaced the taco with no questions asked. We look forward to coming back soon thank you Angel.“

“If you don’t know, now you know… The Caribe Vegan is BACK! Available to dine in (with real plates and silverware) in a beautiful garden setting at the Zen Mind Space in Wilton Manors (with a private parking lot) or for pick up at same location or order on Uber Eats or Grub Hub for delivery. First up thing I tried was one of the three Sushis rolls on the menu called, URSULA MOVED TO DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, it consisted of Vegan shrimp (made from heart of palm), sweet plantain, tofu cream cheese, cucumber, carrot \\u0026 crispy onions drizzled with her secret island sauce. The fusion style sushi roll, was full of flavor, and had a good texture through out, was definitely one of my favorite things I tried, and I would definitely get it again and highly recommend it when you order from her, but it definitely left me curious to try some of her other fusion style rolls, I could actually imagine just ordering all 3 rolls and calling it a night. The next dish was a caribe classic, a CRABCAKE (made with heart of palm) served over Dominican-style mashed plantain with garlic \\u0026 vegan butter and Crabcake, smothered in a house made cheesy garlic sauce \\u0026 pickled cabbage, do I have to say more? Just out of the world taste and flavor explosion, just like at the picture below, it was insane and so big. The final plate was a bowl for the soul, THE DOMINI SOULFOOD PLATE, that consisted of Latin style fried chkn (made from mushrooms and jackfruit), mac \\u0026 cheese, candied yams mixed with sweet plantain. The Chick’n was crunchy, and fried just right, she topped it with her special sauce, that really gives new meaning to special! I hope she starts selling It by the bottle, because it’s so good! The mac \\u0026 cheese was creamy and had a very good consistency. It was all complimented so well with candied yams and plantains that were the perfect sweet to go with the spice, an all around can’t miss plate, highly recommended. If you have ate at the Caribe Vegan in the past, you already know the amount of love she puts into each dish, and if you have never got to try her before, here’s your chance. Her new location is a beautiful event space, yoga studio and offers therapeutic massage as well (check for class times and appointment), it has lots of parking and a great zen garden to chill and enjoy your food, I definitely suggest stopping in, saying hi, and enjoying the food (it’s ok to bring a few canned beverages, if that’s your vibe). “Me and my fiancée travelled to Fort Lauderdale, and we went along with our friends to The Wharf. This location has an amazing mainstream social vibe, beautifully decorated, and a lot of entertainment and food and seating and has amazing views, bathrooms were pretty clean, and staff were nice. Drinks are on the expensive side, spent $30 for a vodka cranberry and a mojito. Overall, would definitely come back as the vibe is amazing!“

“Delicious Maine lobster pasta in sauce. I loved it. Unfortunately, the Dover Sole was ok, not the freshness of fish I expect at this fine restaurant. Chef Angelo would not tolerate it on his plate. At $78 for the dish, any restaurant can put a delicious sauce. Angelo's recipes are the best. Angelo's should maintain better quality control of their fish in hot Ft Lauderdale. The sauce was very good, of course. I will go again. Not order fish. It's a problem in most restaurants. Didn't expect at this Ft Lauderdale gem.“

“I knew I wanted to go to Archibald's since they opened. Their social media makes it look like such a fun and delicious place to stop in for a coffee or a sweet treat! And lemme tell you--all my expectations were exceeded handily from the moment I walked in the door. I was greeted warmly by the owner, Chris, and couldn't wait to order my oat milk latte. They served it in a 16oz size, which was PERFECT for my perhaps worrisome reliance on caffeine. It was strong and delicious, just the way I LOVE it. The music and the setting were outstanding. I couldn't help singing along with the playlists piping through their cozy outdoor seating area and several little birds and neighborhood pups made the experience that much more enjoyable. Chris would deliver orders to the seating area and his warmth and hospitality made this THE place to be, especially on an overcast Sunday morning. I loved the pumpkin spice scone and the quiche was BEAUTIFUL, especially with that gluten-free crust. I try to limit that consumption as much as I can though I have to admit--baked goods are my kryptonite. All in all, an incredible experience. I look forward to returning when I'm back in Ft. Lauderdale. And when I come, I'll be sure to bring my souvenir mug--they'll fill it with drip coffee for only a DOLLA'! “I'm Vegan and went here with my sister who isn't. We both loved it. Her only complaint was the portion size. I had a bacon egg & cheese bagel and carrot cake. She had the beef empanada and a soup. The good thing is that they are open late on the weekends. I would definitely visit again.“

“I found spot randomly driving around and it seemed like a cool place so I came in by myself. An extremely polite gentleman invited me to the bar and took my order. The service was fast and professional. I ordered 3 street tacos and I got beef, pork and chicken. I was blown away at how delicious this food was. Easily the best tacos I've ever had. I also really enjoyed the Quvo Named craft beer. I was surprised to learn that the gentleman and woman serving me were the owners! I'll definitely be returning.“

“Absolutely fantastic experience at 52 Seasons Fort Lauderdale. My friends and I were celebrating my graduation and had a blast. The food and cocktails were amazing and the ambiance was spot on. Our server Trevor made our experience incredible and masterfully handled our 11 person table (with different people arriving at different times) with ease and made our experience incredible. He explained every one of the desserts and answered every question we had about the food. My steak and asparagus was cooked to perfection. The lamb was not too gamey and perfectly savory. 5 stars across the board for this restaurant. Reasonably priced for the ambiance and food quality.“

“As a older adult, I enjoy going to this establishment very much. There is a nice mixture of ages and demographics, and everybody is very sweet. The owner Mark, his GM Fayna and his staff are very accommodating and helped me learn about the different botanical drink options and since I’ve been going there, my health has improved (i believe it’s due to their recommendations). I prefer holistic and natural approachsto my well-being, and I have become a regular of Leaves and Roots. I have also recommended them to my friends and family.“

After getting home, the GM Tim texted me to say that they had my wallet which I didn’t know that I had lost. Everything was returned to me safe & sound. When you pull into their parking slots, the phrase “Be Nice” is printed on each of the concrete slabs. Well these guys are, from the food all the way down to the staff. We’ll be back.“
