I really don't know what to say in this review so let me just start by saying I have never left a review for a restaurant in my life. But I feel today is the day! I have been here before and have not had a problem with my food or anything eles but today I think I experienced what others have experienced. So first I was redeeming my free zaxby's meal because hey why not right? I walked in and the lady at the register was rude right off the bat so I asked to speak to a manager because the attitude was unreal and the manager apologized and gave me my free meal witch was fine so I sat down with my food and went to get some sweet tea. I sat back down and took a sip of my tea and it tasted like soap or some kind of chemicals I thought to myself what heck! Then I did not make a big deal I said ok I will just try the unsweetened and just sweeten it myself I was hesitant. So i just put a little in the cup and took a sip to see if it had the same issues. And it was even worse!!! Tasted like straight chemicals!! Like soap all in my mouth or something!! I seriously was in shock for a second and immediately went over to tell the manager i told her the tea tasted like chemicals!! She ignored it for a bit until she seen I wasn't going anywhere and she asked what I wanted her to do I said someone needs to try this tea or throw it out and make some new tea or make sure it's rinsed our or something. Because i just got a mouth full of chemicals! nothing was done they acted as if I said nothing so I asked another employee to get me tea from the drive thru line and told him the same thing that the tea they had in the lobby tasted like soap and chemicals. The tea he gave me from the drive thru was just fine confirming that I was not saying this for no reason. Still I asked them if they were going to change it?What ever came out of the tea nozel or the tea it's self still had soap in it i do not know!!! But I still taste the chemicals in my mouth as I'm typing this and i have for the last couple hours!!! Or I wouldn't be leaving this review. So I had to call the zaxby's in niceville to talk to a manager who would actually listen. I explained to the employees at the front that it was sad and unperfesonl the way the situation was being treated and one of the guys in the kitchen African american with deads up in a hair tie was laughing and said "your sad". WORST EXPERIENCE AT THIS ZAXBY'S. What's even more sad is normally I have my two-year-old son with me and he loves my sweet tea. So you could imagine if I had him with me and just let him take a drink of my tea without even thinking to check it first!!! They need someone in this place who knows how to run a fast food restaurant business professionally and respectfully.
