Tandoori chicken and curry chicken are a great start for me and they're better than I expected. Service was good, nothing to complain. Overall, very great atmospheric restaurant, if you're interested on trying Indian cuisines I would recommend it.”

“Place is beautiful, modern, cozy and super clean. Food is really extraordinary ! We stopped by in Jacksonville during a road trip and were so pleased that we found this place. We had pasteis, cheese bread and tapioca as appetizers. For entree we had lasagna, risoto with ribs, picanha and pasta al limone. Everything was absolutely delicious, really outstanding food quality. Chocolate mousse and dulce de leche petit gateau are a must. Highly recommend Rustic21 if you are a foodie :) We will be back for sure!! Thank you!”

“I went to Fast Eddy's last night. This place was obnoxiously delicious and knowledgeable and friendly. The owner immediately greeted us. Got our drinks and placed the order for the kiddos. (With a special upgrade for my daughter's burger because she won her volleyball game.) Then he took the time to walk through everything my husband (wheat allergy) and I (Celiacs and Dairy Allergy) could eat. There was a large portion of the menu that we could have. We went with the Beef Tikka and it was FANTASTIC. My husband and I were fussing over who got the leftovers for lunch the next day. This place is amazing. And SAFE. Which means the world to anyone with food allergies. I can't wait to go back.”

“LOVE!!!!! My husband and I tried this place tonight. We were hesitant because it didn’t look busy. Upon entering we saw some families inside. We ordered a large half deluxe half pepperoni. It was the best pizza we’ve had in Jacksonville by far. Another family told us they drive 30 minutes to eat here. We were on this side of town but live 35 minutes away. We will definitely be back. This will be a new favorite place for us.”

“The epitome of one of the finest "Throw-back" Diners in the South!! My wife and I have stopped here on mornings after long shifts at work over the last 2 years, and there's a reason! From the very beginning, we loved the decor and memorabilia from the 50s and 60s, and then, there's the staff and owner! All of the staff are fantastic, but the cake goes to Amanda! She dresses the part so perfectly, and works so hard, she's an absolite treasure! We come here first and foremost because of the food, however! For us, the food has been prepared perfectly, and my wife absolutely loves The Popeye Omelet w/ extra Spinach. Light, fluffy, and enough for 2 people on most days! I'm a bit varied in my choices, but I am so pleased every time we leave the diner, I couldn't recommend this Diner enough! It can be busy on the weekends, and they are closed on Mondays, so note that before ya' go!! But, GO! You'll be glad you did! Time for me to go get a Triple Cheese Grilled Cheese right now!! ✅️”

My favorite thing on the menu is the Salmon Salad with Warm Lentil Dressing... it's SO good ! My daughters favorite is the Goat Cheese Salad. They have good kids meals too. Like I said EVERYTHING is good and high quality... including the service of course...(Gabriel is a great waiter). I love the fact you can make a super easy reservation on-line, and that takes the worry away about waiting for a table, especially for workday lunches... and don't skip Dessert !!!!”

“I've been told to try this place out multiple times. We are so glad we did! I didn't take pictures of the oysters until after we torn into them, so it's not the best pic. However, they were delicious! The hot wings were good, and the conch fritters (sorry, no pic) were pretty yummy. We also had the house salad that was fresh and pretty much what you would expect on a house salad. Amanda, our bartender and server, was on point with her drink making skills. I loved every drink she made us. We ate at the bar, and everyone there was so outgoing and friendly. I would highly recommend this place. We can't wait to try more dishes and most likely become regulars.”

“My husband and I had lunch outdoors at Capital Grille. He ordered the cheeseburger with truffle fries and I had the lobster salad. We were both very pleased with our selections. The lobster salad, while pricey, had plenty of fresh chilled lobster meat atop an arugula/field greens mound of lettuce with citrus vinaigrette. The salad also included avocado and cherry tomatoes. Very refreshing. The cheeseburger was piping hot and cooked just as my husband had requested. Larry provided exceptional service throughout. Highly recommended for a special (or business) meal where sticking to a budget is not an issue.”

“Went here for the first time on Sunday for brunch with a friend. We had made reservations online and were seated right away upon arrival. Our server was incredibly nice and went over the menu and specials in detail, explaining that they work with other local businesses and their food is always made fresh. We had a chocolate chip cherry bread to start and it was DELICIOUS! Both of us enjoyed our main entrees and drinks. Very relaxing, comfortable atmosphere, fantastic & welcoming staff, scrumptious eats and great cocktail list. Will definitely be back!”

“Burger was done perfectly, service very courteous. Store has opened recently, love the big windows to give the place an airy feel. Plenty of seating, good lighting with a finished ceiling to quell echo and noise. There is still a seating section behind an inside wall to sit out of direct sunlight coming from the west in the afternoon. Everything is kept spotless and looking like the first day of opening. So glad a Whataburger opened nearby!”

“I know this isn't a local joint, but it was late and local options were slim at the time. I wanted to send a shout out to Waffle House on Baymeadows Road in Jacksonville for an excellent experience last night. We walked in for a late dinner at 10 minute to 9. They were packed and short staffed. We grabbed the only open table and the shift leader (manager?), who was also cooking, brought our drinks and took our order, advising that it may be a wait. While we were there, 4 staff members that had been called in to help showed up and went right to work. They were a well oiled machine, continually checking on all of the tables, apologizing for the wait, and thanking everyone for their patience. We got our food and left within an hour. If we had gone to the IHOP 2 doors down, we would have still been waiting for our food (even in the best of times.) I know times are tough for the service industry right now, but these ladies and gentlemen handled it with grace and efficiency. I tipped 50% of the bill, and would have done much more if I could have.”

“In the midst of hurricane IAN, we got hungry. It was open and packed. We were seated quickly. The menu was very limited but what we wanted was available. Cooked and served perfectly hot and fast! There was so much food I had to bring some home. The staff was happy, jovial in fact. Hurricanes tend to do that to folks round here, (in a Bob Marley kinda way). Nervous energy I guess or maybe just glad the storm impacts have been minimal. A happy brunch made for a welcome distraction. "Don't worry about a thing, cause every little thing is gonna be alright" and the waffles-amazing as always. “My husband and I came to this location in the mid afternoon. The lone server, Elizabeth, looked a bit stressed to be by herself but was handling everything quite well. She politely requested we sit at the bar area so it would be easier for her to serve us, and since we both work in food service as well, we of course obliged. Elizabeth did an excellent job of making sure we did not feel ignored, for example by letting us know she was going to serve the person who walked in before us and would be back after that. There was a minor mistake with our order, but it was corrected quickly and easily. I hope to enjoy Elizabeth's excellent service again in the future.”

“The truck came by my work and I decided to check it out, expecting not to get anything because ice cream can hurt my stomach and I'm not the biggest fan of shaved ice. I saw the sorbet and I was sold, I can't remember if I got strawberry and raspberry sorbet or if it was just one of those flavors. It came in a cold orange peel which was both cute and kept the sorbet cold. The sorbet was delicious and the texture of it was perfect, it was never melty but also wasn't hard at all so the spoon picked it up perfectly. It came with a strawberry and a raspberry on top that tasted and looked fresh. I would love to run into this truck again and get another treat!”

The dough had a great under carriage, sauce was good, cheese was great, and the toppings were great. The salad here was fresh too, no brown leaves, and the ranch tasted in house made. Was very very busy but plenty of seating for all. Service was pretty good too and the workers were all very friendly. Far and away one of the best pizza spots in the area. You guys have earned my business and I'm VERY picky when it comes to food.”

“The wait is worth it!!!! Always delicious and hot. I've been to this location twice this month and best of all they stay open til 4am (not sure if it's everyday or just weekends). I had to go inside to grab the sauces that I requested upon ordering and the lobby was filled. Music was bumpin' which is important to me as a customer and in the past, when I was working upbeat, dance music helped me stay happy and productive even when I was nonstop busy. They had 4 cashiers taking orders and expediting them in addition to about 6 cooks (was probably more but I could see some thru the window plating orders) checking everything for perfection! I'd eat here every day if I could afford it ? Got the 3item platter combo with curly fries instead of crinkle and a side order of fried okra. It was about $30 plus they gave me a free jumbo cup of ice. The young lady that brought my order out even complimented me on my beautiful daughters ?”

My go-to s are the Cowboy (w/home fries) platter, Cowgirl (w/grits) platter and the Rocket-in-a-pocket (breakfast pita). There's always a fresh pot of coffee brewing just like your Granny's home. “Such a fun little shop! It's drive-thru or walk up. The shakes are so delicious as well as their other icream treats. I personally LOVE their banana split. We always get the dog cups for our pups, too! They just love the vanilla ice cream with their milk bone treat on top. They staff is always so nice and helpful with the hard decisions of what to get. I highly recommend visiting here sometime.”

I have tried multiple local boba shops around the area and none can beat Treata Tea brown sugar.It's definitely not too sweet nor too concentrated (if you wanted to lower sweetness level it would still taste great) just the right amount of sweetness.The boba pearls aren't bland; the texture was coated with brown sugar and sustainable chewy flavors.I suggest getting two, one is not enough especially if you’re a boba lover like me ?”

“I took my wife to Cowford for her 58th birthday. I chose Cowford because she said she wanted a nice lobster tail comparable to the one we had in Puerto Rico, and Cowford Chophouse did not disappoint.They have complimentary valet parking, which was nice, so make sure you have cash on hand for a nice tip.My wife was amazed as soon as she walked in and realized that I'd picked a restaurant that exuded class and sophistication. We initially went to the rooftop, as I wanted her to enjoy the weather, but it was a little too cold. Additionally, I thought the hostess at the front door notified the rooftop staff that we'd be dining there, but no one came to our table to greet us or give us menus so we thought it would best for us to go back downstairs to be seated inside. As we walked to our table, I realized that they had a 2nd-floor dining area, so I can only assume that she called the 2nd floor and not the rooftop, so that was on me. From the moment we were seated, the experience began. We saw a birthday note, which was a kind and thoughtful gesture and the waiter told us that she would receive a complimentary dessert. It's the small things that make a huge difference.He took our drink order and brought bread (the focaccia is the best, especially with regular whipped butter). As we sat, I noticed a few things. When a party of six is present, six servers/waiters present everyone's food at the same... in sync. When plates are removed, it's done in sync as well. It makes you feel like each person has a personal server. Limes are not thrown on a plate, they are placed intentionally. When we informed them that we wanted to sit side by side instead of across from each other, they rearranged the place settings to accommodate.The food:The presentation of the ribeye wasn't appealing. The juices were dried up and a little dried up on the plate. I requested medium temp and it was prepared perfectly without being overly marbled. It was a nice cut of meat and I was satisfied with the flavor.The 14 oz lobster tail was EVERYTHING!!!! It was seasoned to perfection and didn't need butter but the flavor from the butter took it beyond our expectations.The green beans (different name on the menu) were great as well. Everything was prepared perfectly.Our server boxed our leftovers, we asked for extra focaccia bread and he gave us a generous amount. We requested her birthday dessert to be boxed as well, and we left feeling like we had an overall great experience.I recommend only going to the rooftop to have cocktails and conversations. I liked way the tables were arranged, and the view of the bridge and city skyline at sunset was nice.”

“We just recently did the Omakase experience at Norikase. It is one of the best dining experience I've ever had in Northeast Florida. The atmosphere was amazing and the decor was breathtaking. The service from the hostess to the waitress was phenomenal. Chef Akira was well engaged and explained all the courses thoroughly. He said he is always learning, but I think he is well on his way to be a master of his craft. His staff and sous chef were great and they worked in harmony with each other. You can tell right away the food is top notch. Everything was amazing and high quality. The cocktails were delicious and well executed. This is truly a taste of Japan and it's by far the epitome of high end sushi and sashimi dining in Jacksonville. Be prepared to bring your wallet, but it was well worth it.”

“I originally went in here thinking this was a craft beer supply store for brewing your own beer so don't be fooled by the name it's actually a tap room. You don't see the name 9-Zer0-Pour on the sign above the door ?. ? ? They feature a lot of good beers on tap an offer flights at whatever the 4 oz poor rate that's listed on the wall they have coolers with many good pints of beer and cans.”

“I used to love Ruth Chris… I still do but it’s not what it used to be like many things unfortunately. The place is very nice as a location , downtown RiverfrontJacksonville…. The service is average but used to be better . The food menu has changed over the years a little and for some reason changing the recipes that were great were replaced with ok ones . Why fix something that isn’t broke ? Prime example, the filet mignon was prepared with a peppercorn recipe and was absolutely delicious. The second from the last time we went and ordered the filet it came very salty and had to send my wife’s order back .I have never had to send a steak back atRuth Chris but this time unfortunately it was just not enjoyable to consume .They changed the recipe and what used to have a great flavor has no flavor now.”

The goodies in their bake case are nothing short of beautiful. Their shakes are insane. Looking at the rest of the menu, there are plenty of food and sweet options and every one looked/sounded amazing. THIS.PIZZA. The owner talked a big talk but he certainly walked the walk. With impressive experience around the world and eye for quality, this is probably the best pizza I have EVER had. Last but not least, their customer service was everything you could want. They are a husband and wife duo who took time to genuinely engage in conversation with us. They are a small spot now but have big dreams. “I've been to 5 different hibachi restaurants in Jacksonville. Their cooks and show is absolutely the best. The food is always perfectly cooked. The staff is outstanding and makes you feel valued. This is why I keep going back!Dietary restrictions: They are very cooperative when asking for accommodations to dietary restrictions and also for our little picky eater.Kid-friendliness: The cooks always take my young daughters into account. They are gentle on her with the flames, not to over do it and scare her, but also interact with her and the other guests to make everyone feel welcome and part of the dinner. I LOVE their cooks. We've had 3 different ones on multiple occasions. The one with the boombox coming out always makes for a nice laugh. Sometimes its nice seeing them at the other tables while eating soup/taking orders or finishing up our meals. Great experience!”

Went went at least once a month after that until we moved from the area. The owner, who waited on us on multiple occasions was always so thoughtful. We were pregnant with our first, as was his wife and, and we spent a lot of time talking about our soon to be children. We moved before our son was born, but whenever we think back on our time in Jacksonville, this restaurant and its owner, always come to mind. I didn’t like the sauce on one of my meals because something about it was really bothering my mouth and the owner, Cesar, had the cook make me something more palatable and made sure that I got taken care of and was very kind and professional.Inside, the restaurant has a nice layout. Outside, there is seating and some lighting.The beef empanadillas were amazing. The natural juices were good too, the lemonade was good. The bistec encebollado was delicious! We will be returning. Tandoori chicken and curry chicken are a great start for me and they're better than I expected. Service was good, nothing to complain. First bite deceived me as the char was a bit strong on its own, but the second bite when everything (the sauce, fresh pickle, buttery bun, the onions, wood fired waygu & cheeses (Gouda & Brie)) all came together to work some magic on the burger. Our table got all three desserts, they were solid. But the key lime pie was the star of that show. Best one I have had in some time! Our server Jason was already well versed with the ins & outs of the menu and was cool & calm on the second night of service.”

Beer was a bit pricey - $7.75 for Dos Equis (really???). And it was flat. So don't get that - and ask about the beer pricing before you order (not on the menu). Our server was so sweet! But overworked - noticed others standing around so better scheduling would help as you all get settled - especially with the concert crowd. Overall nice night we left very happily stuffed!”
