“What a great place. The food was delicious. It's really the service that made our evening so pleasant. The entire staff was great. When we had questions about items that weren't on the current menu or modifications they were accommodating and helpful. I forgot to take pictures of the food we were having such a good time. Everything was yummy, I had the broiled platter.... And let me mention, the pork chop...Yes the pork chop at a fish camp...is delicious. The place is popular and I would suggest getting a reservation.“

“This was my first time eating at J. Alexander and I was so pleased with everything about this place. The atmosphere was very pleasant. It was a group of 10 of us celebrating the birthday of one in the group. Our server Misty was awesome, she was so helpful and knowledgeable. She went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with everything we ordered. Now to the food, WOW!!! everyone enjoyed the steaks, crab cakes, salads, warm bread with butter, celantro shrimp and to top it off the warm carrot cake with cream cheese icing. Yum,Yum. “I experienced superb service and great food at this smart downtown Jax restaurant. I arrived just after their 4pm opening. They were offering their happy hour menu which is more limited than their full menu, but has plenty of options. I enjoyed an ''Immunity Idol" cocktail during the brief wait for my food. My server was attentive and very knowledeable about the menu items. I had a burger and fries - it was a comfort food kind of afternoon for me - and will go back soon to try other menu items soon.“

“Amazing evening out. Everyone was so friendly as you entered the restaurant. It started with one of the best pomegranate martinis I ever had. Our server Jessica was excellent and all the servers that came to the table paid attention to detail. The most impressive part of the evening was the impeccable style of chef Justin. We had the 6 courses chef’s adventure tasting menu and I cannot say enough about the cuisine. The harmony of flavors and the mastery of technique with the plating presentation was magnificent. The chef came to the table to explain each plate that was presented. He’s very knowledgeable regarding the dishes he prepares and you could see his personality come through in the way the dishes were plated and the flavors that came through with each plate. With the cuisine Justin is preparing this restaurant could be a Michelin star restaurant in notime. By the way I am gluten free so the chef had to make changes to my dishes only. I cannot say enough on how much we enjoyed the entire evening. We will definitely be visiting Matthew’s again.“

“One year ago we lost a very dear friend, co-worker, family member and loved one! We went to seasons 52 to celebrate his life and brought with us (his ashes). The staff at seasons 52 town center Jacksonville Florida was amazing and accepted the situation as if he was there! From the bar tender Michael who served him a drink to the receptionist who Renee who made us fell very welcome and treated our friend with respect and dignity to our waiter Blake who also went the extra mile to make our experience exceptional! We would like to recognize these people for helping us make our friends night out so very special we will be back every year because of them and the service, not to mention the food was amazing! “This was a great find the food was really good had the chicken philly recommendation by the cook and it was better than i expected. To be honest i hate going out to eat i rather cook at home but i enjoy finding places with good food at a great value for me this place was a hit. I wont call them staff because im sure its family owened and operated so the team here made it great. Honestly i will come back when i just dont feel like cooking i have cooked for many years and you just cant beat great people doing what they love ill have a burger next probably today... “Hidden jewel in an office park. Lived in Colorado 40 years, the owner modified their standard breakfast burrito for me, adding hash browns sausage and salsa, minus the tomatoes and green peppers. Wow! Had a good egg, cheese and sausage biscuit too. Next time their standard burrito or a gyro and some dolmades (stuffed grape leaves, it's Greek, don't remember the Arabic name).Super friendly. Great service. Really good coffee.Indoor seating, 4 tables that can seat 4, and 3 that can seat 20. Some outdoor tables that are shared with the whole building. They had a lot of people getting takeout. Fast service.“

“I just had the best bacon egg and cheese sandwich! It comes on a croissant, and it is huge! And tasty! I had a choice of sides with it, would have preferred just the sandwich, but I chose the fruit. I will eat the fruit later, but it looks fresh and tasty. I actually ordered two, but the first sandwich was extremely filling, the second will be supper. The price is not bad for what you get, $8.99 for the sandwich and side. I had mine delivered and I didn't have to wait forever to get it. I highly recommend Metro Diner on Roosevelt Blvd.“

Food was phenomenal, best cooked steaks in Jax hands down, beating out Mortons and R.C. there was a slight mix up on the cit of the steak so they refunded the difference and everything else was spectacular.Atmosphere, food and service was top notch.“

“This is the best one for miles. I've eaten at all of them including Yulee/Fernandina. They all have been good but this one stands out. I visit it frequently and they always get my order correct and the hamburger is great. I get the Culver's Deluxe and it's always perfect. The fries are awesome too.“
