“Parker was our waiter and he was AMAZING. He was always asking us if everything was okay, filling up our water, and going above and beyond. The atmosphere was fye and cool. The food was great too!Dietary restrictions: My friend is gluten free and they went above and beyond to accommodate her.“

“These guys epitomize what it means to be a good neighbor. Tonight the power went out in my corner. I called it into JEA and trampled out to find some AC, a place to charge up my Phone and dinner. Between the electric and some work brouhaha I wanted no part of, I was flustered in ordering and blurted out my current predicament. The counter guy brought me a complimentary water, graciously let me use a power outlet, and let me get myself reset before returning to deal with JEA and what turned out to be a busted transformer. I was rushed or hurried out. There was no side eye of “how long is he going to be here” or even for the meager order I put in to justify my presence. In that moment they took care of my physically (food and water) and psychologically (safe place, charged up phone, etc). I was already a fan of this place before this hiccup in life. Now I’m a grateful patron who love this neighbor BIG time. To these guys it may not have seemed like they did much but in that moment you guys rocked it like all stars. So don’t go to these guys for their AMAZING food (I could have their samosas daily and be so happy). Go and celebrate what a WONDERFUL part of the community they are… forever in your debt for that hour of peace you guys gave.“

“Soooo delicious! We enjoyed our brunch here immensely. My chashu pork bowl was plentiful and full of amazing flavors. All aspects of the dish were cooked to perfection. My husband's chicken sandwich was out of this world. The kimchi butter sauce it's coated in had a wonderfully sweet initial bite that ended with the slightest heat. The sauce did not cause any sogginess to the breading on the chicken. It remained crispy and juicy. Service was top notch and the place had a great casual vibe. We'll definitely be back and we'll make sure to have room for a full serving of the Vietnamese coffee soft serve. We each got a tasting and it was yummy but we were full from our meals.“

“We went to Karai for lunch. It is a small nicely decorated ramen restaurant. They do not have physical menus. You have to scan a QR code. The server came to us right away and took a drink and appetizer order. We ordered the gyoza as our appetizer. It came out quickly and was hot and fresh. There are sauces on the table you can use for dipping. I ordered the Miso Tsukemono Ramen which is a red miso broth that comes with curly noodles and Yakiniku Brisket. It was amazing! Our 1 year old loved the noodles and brisket! My husband ordered the Peanut Brisket Tantanmen which is a Peanut, sesame, and seared brown sugar mirin broth that has straight ramen noodles and Yakiniku Beef. It was also so delicious. If you love a peanuty flavor this is the ramen for you! The custard egg in the ramen was perfect!! Highly recommend if you are near San Pablo and Beach!“

“Was guided by The Holy Spirit here when I wasn't feeling well and just wanted a good soup.I ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen with pan-fried pork katsu instead of chashu to go.1. The packaging of my to-go order was greatly appreciated and thoughtful- soup in one bowl, chashu in another where it wouldn't really sweat as much and the noodles and encutrements were in a separate bowl.2. This ramen was just hands down what I needed and sooo tasty! Will come back and maybe try the sushi“

“Everything is so delicious, I have been coming here for a few years now and I have so many favorites and it's always easy to know everything will be just as I like it. The portions are always giving and make great leftovers and prices are very reasonable and affordable to skip out on cooking and enjoy a meal out. Thanks for the wonderful service and can't wait to visit again!“

“I experienced superb service and great food at this smart downtown Jax restaurant. I arrived just after their 4pm opening. They were offering their happy hour menu which is more limited than their full menu, but has plenty of options. I enjoyed an ''Immunity Idol" cocktail during the brief wait for my food. My server was attentive and very knowledeable about the menu items. I had a burger and fries - it was a comfort food kind of afternoon for me - and will go back soon to try other menu items soon.“
